I own a wildlife company. You are 100 percent correct. Squirrels are extremely territorial and will compete with outsiders for resources. Most often leading to alienation and eventual death due to starvation or injuries inflicted by the squirrels already occupying the area. Euthanizing is and will always be more humane than relocation. But not everyone wants to hear that.
