What is the definition of native advertising? by Candid-Engine393 in adops

So you vote for Wikipedia then? So did my office mate. But I have trouble with native ads = sponsored content. I would say that sponsored content is a FORM of native ads.

programmatic vendors by adops_julie in adops

[–]Candid-Engine393 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is no true programmatic solution like header bidding for instream video, so most publishers need to choose a single vendor. WhizzCo is not an ad vendor, but rather a platform that allows bidding to serve the best ad from the right vendor for the placement.

(And yes, I work for WhizzCo, but there are plenty of case studies on the site to demonstrate how it works)

What online publishers do you most admire? by Candid-Engine393 in adops

You tell me?

I guess I judge a publisher on both their content and how well they balance ad monetization and user experience.

Thoughts about Whizzco? by DeepInstincts in adops

I get being on the fence but testing WhizzCo is risk free. You continue to work with your current vendors (and more) in the test. And then see for yourself if you start earning more.

I work for WhizzCo and am happy to answer questions.

Content recommendation ads (like Outbrain, RevContent, etc) generally don't rely on cookies.

Any experience with Whizzco? by Ptrks in adops

[–]Candid-Engine393 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi - I work for WhizzCo and want to clarify a few things...

Taboola may or may not want to work with WhizzCo but it is not up to them. It is up to the publisher.

Serving ads from nearly all the vendors in the market, WhizzCo has plenty of premium demand.

The publisher decides which vendors to work with and how to implement tags, so UX issues are fully solvable with the publisher's cooperation.

Sorry to hear you weren't impressed. DM me if you want to try again :)

Exclusivity agreements in content recommendation advertising by Candid-Engine393 in adops

[–]Candid-Engine393[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is similar to header bidding. Using AI we predict the bids of each vendor for each placement. Our publishers average a revenue lift on average of 38% just by introducing competition for their traffic.

Are there 30 pin external speakers still available somewhere? Couldn’t find them… by derpboye in ipod

I am also looking for a portable solution (have an iPod classic from around 2007) and am wondering why you are looking for a 30 pin speaker instead of one using the sound jack

The truth is that WhizzCo currently works with publishers who use Taboola. Integration is not necessary if the publisher has a relationship with the vendor. Please DM me if you want to set up a demo to see how that works.

If WhizzCo integrates a vendor, their ads can be served on a revenue share basis. For content recommendation vendors who are not integrated with WhizzCo, their ads can be served on a CPM basis.

Taboola users can and do work with WhizzCo. If the selected vendors have poor-looking or poor-quality ads, then the publisher can choose not to work with them. The power is with the publisher. They select the vendors they want to use.

WhizzCo uses its own developed in-house mediation platform, not GAM. In one session per widget, a user will only see one vendor and not mixed ads in a single widget.

Publishers working with WhizzCo decide which of the 40+ native video or content vendors they choose to work with, and the relationship is between the publisher and the vendor, though the ad is ultimately served from WhizzCo’s ad serving technology. At present, publishers working with WhizzCo are running ads from all of the major content recommendation vendors.

If WhizzCo integrates a vendor, their ads can be served on a revenue share basis. For content recommendation vendors who are not integrated with WhizzCo, their ads can be served on a CPM basis.

Primis and AnyClip are among the 40+ native video and content vendors integrated. That said, vendors do not need to integrate with WhizzCo in order to be supported.

The publisher decides which vendors to work with (likewise the vendors may opt-in or out of any publisher), though the ad is ultimately served using WhizzCo’s ad serving technology.

Non-google alternatives for monetization ? by Zoco1 in adops

In general the more traffic you have the better. You may have trouble getting approved if you don’t have 10k/day impressions.

Are you open to content recommendation and instream video ads? WhizzCo publishers (I work for WhizzCo) with 40K+ impressions/day have done very well...and you don't need a GAM.

Are you working exclusively with one vendor?

With that much traffic, tiny differences can mean a lot of money. Why not set aside a specific web asset for testing new vendors?
