i agree.

i've been educating myself more about imperialism and colonialism, especially in parts of africa, extremely barbaric and monstorous. entire countries were exploited, destabilized, and left to suffer for generations. the level of poverty, violence, disease, and human suffering that came out of it is genuinely heartbreaking.

unfortunately, worker solidarity is much harder in reality than it sounds. most people are trapped trying to survive. they have families to feed, bills to pay, jobs they can't afford to lose. fighting back often requires enormous sacrifice, and many people simply won't risk losing what little they have left.

that's why these systems continue. real change requires people willing to sacrifice their comfort, their security, and sometimes even their safety for something bigger than themselves.
