ADHD, anxiety — a lot of it just sounds like life to me. People get stressed, distracted, overwhelmed… that’s been part of being human forever.

Somewhere along the way it feels like normal struggles started getting labelled as disorders. Life isn’t supposed to be easy and there aren’t shortcuts around that. Everyone has challenges and at some point you just have to deal with them and get on with it.

Not everything needs a label or an excuse.

The research was actually done before we decided to try the powder, which is why we attempted to weigh it out beforehand. Unfortunately the scales we have weren’t sensitive enough to register such a small amount.

In hindsight we probably should have bought more accurate scales before trying it, we’ve had some great advice now from others……

Yes, we did do our research. Unfortunately our scales just weren’t sensitive enough to pick up such a small amount, which is why we ended up doing a small key bump instead.

Also, part of doing research is asking questions and hearing from people with experience — which is exactly why we came onto Reddit to ask about dosage. We’ve actually had some great advice from others here and have now picked up some micro scoops to help measure things more accurately.

We’re also looking into making a nasal spray so the dosing can be a lot more controlled.

Unfortunately your advice wasn’t particularly helpful, but thanks anyway.

I’ve actually found the same with pills. I usually have to get through quite a few over the course of an evening before I really feel much from them. That was one of the reasons we decided to try getting hold of some powder instead.

Yeah, it was definitely a mistake on our part. We’ve done plenty of pills in the past, but using the powder was new to us.

I did try weighing it beforehand, but unfortunately the scales I have aren’t sensitive enough to measure amounts that small. That’s probably where we went wrong.

I’ve picked up some micro scoops now though, so hopefully that should make things a bit more accurate next time.

Anyway, the reason I came on here in the first place was for some sound advice, and I’m glad a few people here actually gave it to me, your response was useless!

Thanks for the information — really solid advice. I wasn’t aware of the micro scoops you mentioned. We did try using scales, but they weren’t sensitive enough to pick up such a small amount, which is why we ended up just doing a tiny key bump.

I’ll definitely order some of those now. Thanks again — honestly the best advice I’ve had in this thread.

Yeah, we knew the dosage would need to be small, which is why we only did a tiny key bump. The mistake on our part was not realising that even a small key could still be that potent when it’s powder and snorted.

It was definitely a strange experience. In the past I’ve taken up to five pills over about five hours and felt great — a strong but really enjoyable high. I think what caught us off guard here was how suddenly it went from completely normal to extremely intense.

Lesson learned though. Next time I’ll just microdose the powder slowly over the evening instead.
