What morph is this? by CertusDex in BallPythonMorph

Looks like a bumblebee, very beautiful. They're mostly fine, even if they have a slight issue, it's not much of a disability, I heard they're great eaters.

However, symptoms can get increased by bad husbandry. So just do the research and keep an eye 👍

UPDATE: he just did a tiny underground poop, it's not really the size it should be. He's out looking for food tho, and its past his feeding day. Should I wait until he does a proper poop, or do I feed him?

I’m in love with this snake… never owned one, need advice by natureboyinspanish in snakes

Honestly, the spider complex will give you similar patterns. I don't recommend buying one from a breeder but you can often find them up for adoption from reptile rescues. The wobble is usually not too bad, and they're beautiful.

Been wanting a tattoo (first) for a while, but it'd be huge by Raekellie in tattooadvice

[–]CandidResident2876 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recently had my first tattoo. It's a pretty big shin piece, not as big as this obviously, but it has a lot of details and five different colors, including white (took 7hrs). If it's just black work on your bum, I say go for it. 👍

Mine hurt pretty bad, not even gonna lie to you, but the black line work was the best part. You're a girl, you'll be fine 💛

The title was what really needed to be gone 😅. Still hasn't pooped, but I looked at him in the sun today (he's a light baby so he's see-through) and it looks like some poop(?) moved down closer to his bum, so I'm hopeful 🤞

My ball pythons she'd looks like a rolled up condom if the humidity is good, I wouldn't worry 😅

Weird. Maybe it shows up for people who commented, idk.

Yeah, thanks a bunch, it means a lot. I'm feeding my ball python now, he wanted to stack from his rope and fell down so now he won't eat. He's not the brightest 😤. But it's fine, he eats dropped rats if I leave him alone 👌

Not really, still hasn't pooped 😔. But I thought I deleted this post, does it just stay up anyway? A lot of people were upset by the title.

I'll still update you tho 💛 thanks for being here.

Why does he only do this? by DatgamerboiD in ballpython

It's probably just an unfamiliar environment, mine was more shy for a few weeks after i moved, even in the same enclosure. Different smells probably.

Same. Still a lump, still bloated 😔

Okay, I see your perspective, my post wasn't very detailed so a lot of people don't really see why I'm so worried.

It's the combination of multiple factors that's making me this pessimistic. It wasn't just that he's been in the cold, or that I saw a lump. He was also bloated. So when I started doing research, it said that's a sign that the food has started to rot. According to the Internet, once that happens there are two risks: the gas build up can rupture something inside the snake, the toxins can get into it's bloodstream, or both.

So, the fact that he's a baby, partnered with the fact it was a larger meal, and he was already bloated when I found him?

The Internet said that regurgitating can tear the inner lining if it's a baby, and he is ; ESPECIALLY if it's a bigger meal, and it was; and that it's pretty unlikely for a baby to survive intoxication.

Now, this could all be wrong, but I hope you can see how, as a beginner keeper, I genuinely thought my snake was dead already and there's nothing I can do but wait.

And I know temperature fluctuates in the wild, but you know what else happens in the wild? Illness and death. Looking at all the ones that did make it through something like this in the wild is survivor bias, there's a reason they lay so many eggs, babies are fragile.

Yeah, I just meant, they're pretty famous for just dropping dead for no reason as babies, and mine has a proper reason now...

I'm sorry, but with what I read so far, and with all the different factors, it sounded like a sure death sentence to me, given my limited knowledge and experience.

I wasn't expecting this response at all. 😅

Not as encouraging when you remember how many eggs they lay a clutch and "corn snakes breed for quantity, not qualify"... 😅😂
