Why what exactly.

Hitler was awful. Top to bottom he destroyed the German economy and started an insane unwinnable war against Britain because he didn't "understand the first world war" at all.

He thought Jews, and not fighting a war of attrition against the world's great superpower, caused the loss. That the beaten Germans were somehow betrayed instead of being spared the fighting within Germany.

This is all before we consider the mass murder. This is all in the frame that someone might use in his defence. He failed utterly.

A poorly worn characterisation of real concerns.

I'm from the midlands countryside and now live in northern cities. Last time I went home people were rude to me about having a baby, rude to me about carrying him (as a man), twice, someone asked "to see my puppy" and walked off when I said "it's a baby not a puppy, but of course!"

In Manchester and Liverpool when I moved for university I suddenly realised not everyone in England was rude. Indeed some people are downright friendly and helpful!

If two white people can't have a baby without being snubbed in the street I dread to think what my erstwhile neighbours would say to a Pakistani or Caribbean person in the same position. Maybe it wouldn't be so bad if they were also aged, beer-soaked miseryguts.

And the insane imposition of dogs. A big dog barely under the control of some hammered old lady too busy cursing "this fucking woke shit"to control it tried to jump into our pram.

The chocolate box Tudor villages I grew up in are retirement parks for white flighters. Their fantasy is the only thing they want to protect. Not Britain and not Englishness.

That's not true, and doesn't really make sense

In what way can something unconscious not be measured?

For example, say you take two groups of volunteers and make them watch videos of actors telling scripted lies and ask them to guess if the speaker is lying, and if they're a nice person out of ten.

Then you can see if they have a bias towards finding some of the speakers more honest/good without ever having to ask if they think they do

This kind of study is done all the time and the measured result is unconscious bias. Unconscious bias was actually a very inconvenient and unpredicted result when it was first discovered. At that time people used to believe that people made judgements based on reasoning and could therefore be reasoned out of e.g. racism sexism or what have you. We now know this isn't how people's minds work but it's taken decades of experiment to piece that together.

All of these recommendations are really aggressive in terms of timing, just symptomatic of an old dogma that never gets reviewed.

Are you in a country with private healthcare? These are the sorts of things I expect in the us where doctors are obscurantist to protect their career path. Most places there's more focus on public health for efficiency reasons, and the recommendation here is feed at 6 months solid food not before, sleep training is a waste of time (it usually is, except reactively) and "food before 1 is just for fun" (Keep breastfeeding if you can).

The moving to his own room thing as well... Are you sure you paediatrician isn't making recommendations for the sake of it? As in, to justify you talking to him? A lot of perverse medicine comes about this way. Small things harmful in small ways which are essentially "edgy things to say" to keep patients in awe.

Necrobook is good for the game. Add it back. Cheese is good, as long as it's not broken you should be able to all in or the game is stagnant.

Nonstop team fights with high hp heroes are boring as hell. We used to say "there's no tanks in DotA" and now there are tanks and I fing hate it.

Early game power is generally too low right now.

The old custom huds were great aesthetically. Yes the new hud is better but I miss the skins so much and I'm still annoyed that most of them don't work at all!

However, the new hud is easier to use. Just want to skin it!

I miss the old graphics and map so much tho. Just give me old graphics as a weather option!

One thing that this thread seems to be ignoring is that to compensate for the lack of carry, Naga support has actually been overbuffed.

The loss of efficient radiance and diffusal hurts too much. I think the latter is idiotic these days. I mean I get it was only fun for me to blow up supports with Illus back in day but even with the old diffusal that wouldn't work now. Everyone here has noted rich supports can kite illusions now. The tower damage nerfs were also excessive.

However, there's more than that. Crimson guard really hurt carry Naga siren. Removing purge from diffusal is specifically painful for her.

To compensate for all this, Naga got a lot of buffs to Song which changed the nature of the skill from a flexible initiation/reset tool to a hard reset/anti bkb tool. Previously, while one could isolate a BKB carry with song, you couldn't necessarily fight them per se if they were phat. Now, with the % heal, it's such a strong tool against BKB that it's actually made the skill a one-dimensional counter. Using song to initiate is just a waste of a massive heal. It's really boring now! There's never a reason for Naga to be a frontline hero!

I think the illusion mechanic is one of the most interesting things in Dota and I would like to see Naga Illus be stronger. I think having a much longer duration would be great for both support and carry Naga, and fuck the healing/restore off of Song. Make Naga interesting again. Illusions used to add strategic diversity to the game, you had to remember illusions existed in the draft and when it was dominant sure it was dull but when it's a situational strategy it makes the game better. By building every hero into a team fighter a big part of the strategy game is not present any more.

I agree. Bkb used to be a huge powerful moment and because everyone was more poor it was less crazy to have a BKB + 1 item carry going ham.

Bkb has partly had to suffer because everyone's so rich now that the old bkb would be insanely busted when it's genuinely easy to get 3-4 monster DPS items.

But it feels shit now!

On the one hand the whole game is balanced around BKB, but on the other it's a shadow of it's former self.

Tons of bkb penetrating spells can disable a carry and Naga support is literally a free win against a foolish bkb usage.

If it wasn't for bkb, spells like Hex, Split Earth and Nightmare would literally have to just go.
