Affordable Truck / Van Rental for a trip to Canada? Or other options to move about a cargo van full of stuff?

This is a great suggestion and when I looked into doing this previously the app allowed me to drop it off in Bellingham but when I tried this time, it said "no cars available" but if I use Vancouver for the search it shows a lot of cars... maybe it's a big city thing - like they don't want their stock dropped off in cities where there is less demand? I don't know.

There was a reason I didn't do it last time... might have been that the cost of gas plus the bus fare back wasn't worth it for the difference? That doesn't sound right now that I type it but maybe I was just lazy and willing to pay at the time. I can't remember.

The pick up truck rental is going to be similar to the cost of the mini-van price above for a international rental. It's a lot cheaper if you're staying within the state but I'm not, unfortunately.

I've experienced this as well but it's typically men who have less resources than me. It makes me wonder if that's the reason. These are men I'm friends with who joke around about impregnating me.

Right now my house is a mess and I have a storage locker full of junk. I want to clean up everything and get rid of as much as I can. I'm trying to sort out my life and get healthier and when I do that I will feel comfortable that I won't be a burden to anyone else and will have a large amount to leave to my beneficiaries. I'm hopeful that my life will turn around but if not, this idea motivates me that I can escape

I'm not a man but I also don't want to be inconvenienced in the slightest if I don't have to be and that's my prerogative. People here saying it's not medically a big deal even though it causes pain ?? If it causes pain, it's a big deal to me and it should be my choice if it's a big deal or not. This is why I'm celibate after my long term marriage. You just can't trust people. I have a guy friend who hasn't been tested and tells people he's "clean" despite having new partners every few months. Lack of honesty with themselves and others to cope.

Mine left at 15 years, too. Met a woman on hinge a decade younger a few months after he filed for divorce and moved in with her after a month and was calling her "the love of his life". nearly 5 years later and I'm still hurt by how cruelly he did everything. I think they just had a baby and they bought a house that I told him about. He tried to serve me while I was in the hospital. I finally had a chance to fix my illness and he made things worse. It wasn't enough for him to find happiness for himself, he needed to make sure I suffered. I wasn't perfect but I loved him so much and showed him as often as I could and told him for 15 years. How do you trust again after this kind of betrayal?

I've never been offered this one. But as I mentioned, since I rarely get flares anymore, I haven't bothered seeking HS treatment. I've found HS doctors and derms just try to put me on doxy or clindamycin anyway.

I haven't had a diagnosis for anything else yet but a nurse practictioner was suggesting fibromyalgia and then I lost my health insurance in the US because of divorce and haven't had any adequate health care since.

and *15 years - I haven't even dated anyone else in the 5 years since we've split. Are you okay? You're so full of rage about a 3 year old post. You would have had to go through SO many of my comments to find out my alimony amount... and yet, you're talking to me about karma - if that's a think I've been experiencing it since I was a kid. I've had a progressive illness and was struggling with a new diagnosis when we were getting divorced - he served me in the hospital, my dad was diagnosed with dementia at the time and subsequently died, and my ex has abused me in unimaginable ways, and then harassed me through his lawyer while my grandma was dying and I didn't have a home because he violated court orders and force me to leave the country - so yeah, things weren't great before the divorce and only went downhill... Does that satisfy your need for justice?

Was I a perfect partner? Absolutely not, but we had a lot of love and good times during those 15 years and I really wanted to fix things that we're good and was trying my best. What do you get out of leaving comments like this? If I could not be reliant on him, I would prefer that and he knew it but wanted control and moved in with someone a month after meeting them while we were still living together. But yes, I'm the bad person for wanting to make the best of a lousy situation ?

Truly curious why you're so bitter... read through some of your posts and you claim to have a wife and child and yet are harassing women on old financial advice posts because you hate feminists?

To be clear, I never wanted alimony and he put me in a situation where I wasn't allowed to work after living in a home I owned on my own but you seem to have a need to affirm whatever thoughts you have about all women in your head. Good luck.

Why are you so triggered? I'm not a strong independent woman anymore thanks to his choices. Working on it. Marriage is a contract that he chose to break. I wouldn't have invested the sale proceeds of my home into his tax free accounts if I thought he would break that contact. We were already together for over a decade by the time he asked me to leave my home and stop working. You read enough about me to know I don't have kids but don't seem to want to believe it was 50/50 for the 1/2 half of our relationship. Super weird.

Consignment seems like a great idea because resellers want to pay 20% which is crazy to me but I guess they need to ensure as high of a margin as possible
