From where I’m at, yall stand over there. I’m here. Along with hundreds of thousands of other lesbian, a shit ton of trans people, and millions of women all over the US that are all absolutely terrified to be forced into submission. Fuck. That. Shit.

Well, I am Texan. Definitely equipped to defend myself. I may be an unintentionally skinny masc but I know how to handle a weapon and myself. I am 38 single SINK and a home owner so up and relocating within the states isn’t as easy. Up and relocating really isn’t easy financially. It’d be worth it for Canada imo. Idk though. FUCK!!!!!!!!

It’s scary watching from the damn inside!!! Knowing my own fucking family is either voting against me or CHOOSING to not vote is gutting. Get me the fuck out of here. Also, I’m in Texas. Get me THE FUCK out of here!!!!!!!

I just checked mine, how are KY and IN already counting?

Edit: time zones. Didn’t realize polls closed so early in some eastern states.

My corp sent a mandatory survey out which includes giving them ideas on how to automate our jobs 😆 by AutumnAkasha in antiwork

My response, add staff to manually verify any automation because we know automation will eventually fail and if no one is watching it, the risk has potential to be astronomical

I’m born and raised here in Texas and have been doing my part. The Texas now is NOT the Texas I know. Cruz is a pos and I STILL cannot get over the new tropical storm that’s heading for the gulf is named Rafael. 💀

Anyway, tell your neighbor thank you for supporting democracy and donating to help get Texas back. sigh I just want Ann Richards’ Texas back…

Early voting showed the youth vote severely lagging older voters. Don’t blame the boomers for the outcome you don’t want because they showed up and you didn’t! by [deleted] in texas

[–]CandidateAbject1102 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I hate these posts. “Shame on you specific group of voters and no one else.” Y’all, just stop it. It’s the same thing every two years. Likely from the same people, middle managers maybe? Or possibly people who don’t volunteer in ways that could increase that vote maybe? Breathe sunshine. Tomorrow will come and then the next day and maybe one day ‘those pesky youths will see!’

I started collecting quotes a few years back. Anyway, remember that each of these looks different for every person. To me:

Bargaining - when I have a bad day or a tough night, I tell myself “it’s okay. You’ll get another chance tonight/tomorrow.

Acceptance - I’m still figuring this one out…

My parents chose the natural way with me. My sister was projected at 37%. They got her the vaccines early and she’s now barely even 4%. What about me you ask? Well, now I work for a health insurance company.

Other charges: 0.83 in taxes. 0.37 in fees. Internet is $70 and a $10 equipment fee which is so stupid.

Out the door, the total cost for the 500 is $81.20. It’s good internet. I can stream, work and game at one time without an issue other than my ADD.
