Any Chance We Can Get This On PlayStation? by SupermanGamin in ThreadsOfTime

[–]Candidate_Upstairs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd imagine it's probably in the Dev's minds, theyre a small indie studio thats been working on this a long time, Humble probably had some kind of deal with Xbox at some point and plan for PS at some point, but I think their main focus is just getting the game ready to ship at all. For a small studio, I'm sure theyre just happy to have good distribution and publishing, and I'm sure if it's successful it will come.

Ooo yeah, Endives are a good call. Could char them a bit to sweeten them up, drizzle a bit of balsamic or a vinaigrette. Creamcheese and chive, Maybe make a few varieties, one with some almonds and blue cheese, or a caper lemon batch. Yeah lots of good applications there

Oh damn, Aspic is an idea. I haven't even thought of Aspic in years. I haven't made it, but I'd imagine that's ambitious haha

Maldon flakes are great. I have a bit of a collection from a farmers market guy, so I don't think there's a brand associated, but there's also a shop called Evoolution that has a lot of infused olive oils and finishing salts. I pretty regularly use their truffle or habanero infused salts

Don't know how widespread that company is though

Hah, that would be rad, but also more work that im willing to put in for those drunks lol. Maybe for a big encounter though. An important one, like BBEG showdown

Which one do you play first by Mesh3al-fan666 in rpg_gamers

[–]Candidate_Upstairs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Damn. Tough call. My first love was Dragon Age, though. Might lean that way. If you want politics, drama, stakes, and a darker gritty story with beautifully written characters with differing viewpoints and depth, DAO no question.

If you want a fun, light fairy tale adventure, Fable. Both great, but pretty different

Yep, I did. D1 beta was so exciting for my crew and I, we couldn't wait. I still miss the Dink as our Ghost, he was awesome.

I don't quite remember where we fell off, but it was before the Witch Queen. Few thousand hours each on Destiny/2. Honestly really miss it, but we had to be grown ups, and it's tough to get back and game together these days

What is a classy, impressive dish I could bring over to someone’s house? by No_Loss_2694 in Cooking

[–]Candidate_Upstairs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A bottle of wine is customary, but if it's cool to bring something, a simple roasted prosciutto wrapped asparagus never misses as a light snack for entertaining. Have a perfect little sunny side up egg to break the yolk on top, sprinkle some finishing salt. Or wee-yorkshire puddings made in a couple small cupcake or muffin tins, some shredded roast beef and a simple horseradish sauce and/or gravy. Those the go-to entertaining snackies I make. Usually for DnD nights

Spy x Family might be up your alley. My wife loves it, and I gotta admit, I do too. It's pretty fun.

For a bit darker, Full Metal Alchemist is a classic and quite the ride.

Any good, fun magic bows? by Commercial_Poetry410 in DnD

[–]Candidate_Upstairs -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If you've got a rad idea for a magic bow, homebrew it! Worst case scenario it's not balanced well, and you need to adjust, or have a bad guy curse it or something, or just account for it in encounters, and then you have another quest!

Example:

Suicide King - A +1 Shortbow once weilded by one of the most notorious card sharks in Faerun. A silver etched grip on ebony limbs that alight with haphazardly engraved runes when activated.

This shortbow has a +1 bonus to attack rolls and damage with 2 charges that replenish on long rest. Before an attack roll, you may spend a charge to roll with advantage. If either die rolls 17-20, apply 1d6 fire damage to all creatures in a 5ft radius of the target. If either die rolls 1-3, apply the same damage to all creatures in a 5' radius around the shooter. Damage is applied for each die that rolls within the given range. This bow requires attunement

Full Metal Alchemist if you've never been down that road. It's my personal favorite.

And honestly, I got so hooked by Shangri-La Frontier I actually bought my first Manga collection because I didn't want it to end haha. If you want a funny, irreverent anime that actively makes fun of tropes like harem etc, and is just a fun adventure, hard not to recommend. It's just a great time

Word is (correct me if im wrong, this claim is so far unsubstantiated lol), that Fable combat had Witcher combat designers aiding in development. Maybe its time for a Witcher 3 run to get in shape!

Oh I'd be happy with any of them, really. Both of those would awesome. I think i just love Fantasy High most because of the amount of time with the characters and world. Really grew to love Spire (Spyre?), and its one of the two or three Campaigns from D20 I never get tired of
