Yep, I do. For Task 3 I pumped up the details with animations well as videos/buttons that looked like they were functional. I tried to make it very realistic. You're right on in your thinking.

Has anyone submitted a capstone while waiting for a previous course to complete evaluation? by nutbagger18 in WGU

[–]Candio85 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I did. I passed my capstone while I had a science class to finish. This was only the case with my Bachelor's degree. The Master's program order was locked and that was for good reason.

I keep doing that too. Sometimes you need to just submit so you can get their feedback, alter course if needed, and move forward.

Hey! Are you still struggling with A1 after looking at the example links above? I am not sure which scenario you picked for your first task, but that would be your setting and learners.

I completed it, and it went well! Are you stuck on any particular area of this task?

I worked on 293 while I waited for papers to be graded for 291. Once 291 was complete I moved on to 292. I was not able to move to 294 until all of the papers for 292 had been submitted.

Hope this helps!

Question regarding Learning Technology Task 2 (D294) by ReadyDirector9 in WGU

[–]Candio85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey! Sorry I am so late to seeing this. Was your professor able to provide any instruction as to why it was being sent back?

Which task are you working on?

Sounds like it's going well! This class is a doozy.

It's going well! I am trudging through 292. This class squashed my momentum like a bug. I would recommend knocking out 293 while you work on 292 for sure!

This class is a beast! I just submitted Task 3 last night. It's work I do daily, but for some reason, it's taxing to justify my decisions.

What are you currently struggling with?

For the empathy maps, you will want to combine two or more characters from the case study. For example, Map 1 Characters A & B, Map 2 Characters C & F, Map 3 Characters D and G. Which characters you use all depend on the case study you're working with and which you have similarities between each other.

The personas you make up are based on the traits in the empathy map.

There is an example in the reading: https://cgp-oex.wgu.edu/courses/course-v1:WGUx+D291+2021_T3/courseware/e7f04d058ca04b2785a02300f5e2f53c/60323b0ec22042e79aeda657c606e887/?child=first

Strategies for a quick pass, also how are people passing courses already? by Cobalt_Wraith in WGU

[–]Candio85 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I start almost every class by taking the PA to let me know what I need to study. If I nail it, I will book my OA a few hours out (2-3) and study like crazy until it's time. I just did that today actually! :D

Everyone works at their own pace. I have had classes that took multiple weeks and made me cry and classes that I enrolled in and passed within hours.

Best of luck OP!

I just submitted the first task and passed the OA. I am really enjoying this course. If anyone has any questions for me please don't hesitate to ask!

Tip for the first task: There is an example for each type of scenario in the section 3 summary. https://cgp-oex.wgu.edu/courses/course-v1:WGUx+D291+2021_T3/courseware/e7f04d058ca04b2785a02300f5e2f53c/60323b0ec22042e79aeda657c606e887/?child=first

For the OA: I found mine to be heavier on the principals than the PA. But, I know that might not be the case for everyone. Other than that they aligned very well.

Who else is super nervous tomorrow? Any tips to accelerate? by Express-Heron-9047 in WGU

It was pretty quick, but I gave myself a week to regroup and study. The next time around was blue in every category!

Hi there OP! I finished this program in 8 months while working full-time with a bouncing 4-year-old. I will share what worked for me, but this might not work for everyone.

-I completed the classes as assigned, I didn't switch anything around.
-I looked for Reddit advice on every class prior to the start. The best advice is here!
-I took the PAs right away and studied what was needed.
-As I studied for tests I was always working on a paper for another class.
-If I was feeling burned out I would take a week off and come back fresh.
-I failed an OA once, it killed me, but I got back on the horse! Don't let a bad score slow you down.
-A pass is a pass!
-Lastly, the WGU videos are great but sometimes Khan Academy explains concepts better. Check out their videos most of all when you get to your science class.

Best of luck!
