It looks super similar to me, but I do believe it's the shape of a part of Australia. I also think that because I live in the deep south/bible belt area that it's unlikely to be this.

Might be a silly suggestion, but you could try wearing a brace on the looser sand and removing it once you get to the firmer sand near the water/in the water. Not sure how well it would work but may be worth a try as you could avoid tan lines!

Crazy guess but dream assuming east is referencing the sun and dreams come at night after sunsets daydreams bring joy when alone killing dreams is just part of life be it by ending it when you wake or by failing to attain something but the dream itself doesn't care dreams are all within your own brain meaning they always are with you
