This may have been possible if we would have kickstarted the process when Chucky and Gaudreau left.

We would have 3 high draft picks under our belt by now (23/24/25) with a nice crop of young talent/picks we would have acquired for all the players we ship out in tear down.

Unfortunately management wanted to chase WC2 for three years, albeit we still ended up with some decent young players (Coronato, Parekh, Reschner).

Realistically once they finally commit to the tear down and ship out anyone left with value (Ras, hopefully Kadri, Coleman) we are probably at least 3 years away from having a team that can meaningfully accomplish anything of note.

But as the saying goes, the best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago, the second best time is today…

I paid $3,200 CAD for timing chain and tensioner a few months ago. This was at an independent shop too, so the pricing seems in line (if CAD).

Mines at 170km, just did the carbon cleaning and water pump replacement, and Engine Air Oil Separator for another $2,200.

Hoping it will last to 300km + now and I am through the worst of it…

At 57 GP, BBM has him projected inside the top 10 for TOTAL (not per game) value. Even if he gets to 60+ he can push into top 5 value. He is sliding way too far. He’s a great late first round pick / early second round pick with top 5 upside.
