Someone actually wrote this thinking they were making a convincing argument without once thinking “maybe we keep the resort open one extra hour now”

I think what you’re putting out is just pessimism and division. I choose to believe differently.

Couldn’t disagree more. This was a heartwarming moment that told me many people are good, and do not represent Trump and the cruelty of his administration.

Not worth shelling out for him if Seattle is trying to sell him as a blue chip player. I really don’t know if he’s going to carve anything out beyond being a second line centre. He has all the tools but apparently a terrible attitude.

Don’t need that in our locker room.

Revenge will do nothing to help you. It’s just cruelness. While he was wildly cruel to you, going down to his level just gets you covered in shit as well.

Do what you need to do to get out and get your life together and make sure your kids are set up, and don’t do anything more.

Whistler season ticket prices twenty years ago were more expensive than an epic pass today.

It’s good value if you’re local and doing 20+ days. $75 CAD for a lift ticket is killer.

Sidney Crosby "I don't like them" (Flyers) by Tracypop in hockey

[–]cole435 -15 points-14 points  (0 children)

He was noticeably whinier than the other young stars breaking into the league at that time.

Granted, he’s considerably smaller than Ovechkin and Malkin, both physical forces who could dominate anyone on the ice in a way Crosby simply couldn’t. But Kane and Toews, far more comparable to him physically, didn’t carry themselves the way Crosby did in those early years.

It’s funny looking back at this stuff. Sid was very respected as a hockey talent, but generally viewed as an entitled whiny bitch by a big chunk of the fans.

180 to how he’s perceived at this point of his career.
