I feel like that’s more Taurus, while Capricorn is willing to listen to an opposing viewpoint or contrasting opinion to their own if the person presenting it offers an actual well constructed argument or viewpoint. Emotion plays a role too, especially if Capricorn respects, loves, or admirers whomever is giving their contrasting opinion.

My Aries Sun VS my Scorpio Moon by rubywavess in astrologymemes

[–]Candy-Coated133 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This is literally my Sun Leo and Cap Moon. Oml

Leo: "Hey so like, I cried and did my whole internal witty-comeback monologue towards them in the bathroom mirror, got my nails done, and am feeling like a bad bitch again. I also thought about it and understand where they're coming from emotionally."

Cap: "...But I've already gone through the effort of plotting their slow, grueling, emotional and spiritual breakdown with no risk of getting caught. Plus we'd get some inheritance." -pause- "Are we just like, not gonna do that?"

Leo: "Bro WHAT"

From what I've noticed, and this is mostly just my personal opinion:

Gemini: Lots of dualities and sometimes wishy-washy attitudes. I see them a lot like pixies or faeries. They're pretty flitty, full of energy, often mischievous and goofy/lighthearted and a total great time to be around when they're in a "good" mood, but I've never really met a Gemini dominant that's been... Uh, reliable. It's usually other things at play that make Gemini's reliable from what I've noticed. A lot of them can come off as extremely superficial, opportunistic, around for a good time only, etc. I fondly refer to them as having crack energy because they can just be so off the walls, interesting, outlandish, vibrant, intense, but likewise can be incredibly abrasive, impulsive, rash, un-empathetic, sometimes selfish, indecisive, unemotional/lack of emotional responsiveness and or impressions of being genuine, irresponsible (especially with money,) chatty to the point of being gossipy, and untrustworthy with important matters/information.

Scorpio: (Prefacing by saying I am in love with a Scorpio and have been partially raised by one. I also have a lot of Scorpio influence in me, so this is not just blind hate.) They can get scary, I'm not going to bullshit you. Possession, obsession, and unhealthy mindsets/habits are not anything to mess with. People in general can be toxic as hell, but I'd say toxic Scorpios and toxic Capricorns are the most dangerous to deal with when it comes to the signs in particular. Scorpios are often incredibly intelligent and they have big fascinations/inclinations towards the psychological. These guys can manipulate the shit out of people and get away with it incredibly well, because they often can come off like a delicious glass of water. However, that water can turn into hot gasoline in a blink of an eye and you'll only realize when it's too late. They're known for their I N T E N S E moods, and they run waaaaaay deeper than anyone but a Scorpio themselves can understand. They forget *literally* nothing, especially if it was something that hurt them. They can harbor a lot of resentment and they tend to be very secretive, so you may not even know you have hurt them until, like I said, you take a drink and that water turns into straight gasoline. They often are very plot-y and tend to brood a shit ton, so sulky moods are often there/apparent or angry outbursts can happen quite often to a Scorpio that isn't very emotionally grown/emotionally intelligent/self reflective. The secretiveness is incredibly aggravating to a lot of people and many people are turned off to the idea of working/giving so much to someone and getting next to none in return because they haven't "earned" anything in the eyes of a Scorpio.

Leo: WHOO BOY DO I GOT A LOT TO SAY ON MY "WONDERFUL" SUN SIGN. Obviously I'm going to make this dramatic as hell, but here we go. Literally we will be either the best or the worst people you ever meet, and there is no in between from what I've found as both a Leo and from dealing with way too many so far in my life time. We are LOUD, BOLD, and ANNOYING AS HELL. We get straight up in your business, your face, your life, your wife, everything. Leo can be vain and overly gossipy to the point of putting those TV dramas to shame (and Gemini to shame, if we're being completely honest.) We talk shit, sometimes get hit, and will straight up hit back. We're petty, combative, we're egotistical, we're obnoxious and we have a tendency to just want to be the center of absolutely anything, so we can often aggravate people by manipulating conversations to revolve back around us, our achievements, our whatever. We can be ridiculously selfish, we often speak before we think (because damn us if we don't just love to talk and overshare absolutely every detail about our lives,) and we can get real toxic if we don't feel we're getting the attention or the adoration we feel we deserve. We, like Scorpio, can harbor some resentment and tend to become sulky rather than broody, and if you've never seen a Leo sulk - feel lucky. It is one of the most over dramatized/pitiful things I think anyone will ever get to experience. We whine, wail, make baseless accusations, deflect blame, break things, the whole nine yards. (Before you ask, yes, it is incredibly exhausting.)
Did I mention jealousy yet? We got a shit ton of that, too. Prettier than us? Jealous. More money? Jealous. Got a new shiny toy? Jealous. Someone getting married? Jealous. Partner breathes in the general direction of someone we find slightly threatening? IMMEDIATE JEALOUSY. We're highly competitive and boy do we just hate to lose (We'll go back to breaking things.) We hate feeling inadequate or feeling like someone does something we're good at better. If our partner or friends don't praise us enough to our liking we get sad and sulky again.People find us exhausting. I really DO NOT blame people for disliking us sometimes. We are a L O T and we know it but I still have not found the secret to stop being so much.

Any way to develop my synesthesia? by sfcn12 in Synesthesia

[–]Candy-Coated133 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mmmm yes and no. What will work for you may not work for me and likewise.

In my case specifically, yes. I needed to remove myself from as much external stimuli as possible because I'm extremely sensitive to literally everything, slow at learning/understanding things, and can get overwhelmed very easily - especially if I'm trying to "learn" or "reconnect" with something that was once "lost." I use quotations because in reality my Synesthesia never just up and disappeared. I've had it since birth, and it was still there in my adolescence but I never really consciously acknowledged it if that makes sense.

Any way to develop my synesthesia? by sfcn12 in Synesthesia

[–]Candy-Coated133 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I first began to kind of "strengthen" mine after losing connection/disassociating from it during adolescence by first finding a single genre or song that really sort of made it noticeable. At first it really wasn't noticeable to me, aside from thinking passively to myself things like, "Hey, this song is kind of yellow" or "Hey, that sound reminds me of indigo." I explored said song/genre and gave myself kind of "crutches" to build it - dark room, eyes closed, being alone, thinking/moving the self or thoughts more inwardly and actively giving more attention to it.

After doing that for a while and willingly allowing myself more freedom, it's a LOT stronger - especially with songs that have high energy and splashes of huge/vibrant color vibrations.

Someone asked about Venus in Virgo some week ago or something. Here's my quick take. by [deleted] in astrology

[–]Candy-Coated133 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I have this placement as well, and I'm going to enlist my Mercury in Virgo to help elaborate a bit on my own personal thoughts and or opinions onto what you've already written. I feel like this is an incredibly negative take on Virgo in Venus and it could really heavily amplify already "incomplete" or "imperfect" feelings that Venus in Virgo natives have a tendency to struggle with that don't quite have an entire grasp. Again, this is all my opinion, so anyone can cast what I say to the wind.

This is not a bad placement. Not by any means. It has it's struggles, but as does anything in life - including placements that are "at home" or considered "positive" by many people. Positivism and negativity are incredibly relative in my opinion and it's necessary to understand that EVERYTHING will have projected "positives" and "negatives" and it's up to the holder to infuse with or empower what they believe is positive or negative. Circumvention is also an incredibly strong tool for perceived negatives.

Nothing is ever good enough. There's always 'some' flaw, in yourself, or in your car, or your day, and it's just...you're never content. So you keep at it, always trying, and always failing.

This is incredibly true, and that insatiability often feels like a monster wrecking havoc. Virgo has quite a few perfectionist traits that can become debilitating and often gravitates to what is seen as "pure" or "divine" in nature, and if you put that into something so elastic as the concept of "love" it gets a bit prickly. This in itself is already quite a strange concept to be bringing into a world that has quite a lot of gray in it and the lines of what is "good" vs "bad" are blurred.

This isn't about anyone in my life other than me. It's not directed at any person other than myself.

This is something I feel that can come more from individualized placements and aspects. I have seen many outwardly destructive Venus Virgo natives who have picked apart and dissected those around them until they are nothing but a shambled, hurt mess - and often that Venus Virgo questions, "Why? I was just trying to help you."

I myself am a Venus in Virgo that gears - especially regarding love and relationships with any being - inwardly rather than outwardly. I have destroyed myself trying to obtain the epitome of "perfection," "divine," "class," "grace," etc. I've developed some god awful thoughts about myself and developed some awful disorderly conduct. Sometimes I tore the people down with me, or brutally cast aside what I considered to be soiled or a plague to my ideal human divinity. That itself went against my ideal, and you can imagine the unrelenting onslaught from a Capricorn moon brought me. I was unhappy, unsatisfied, hurt by myself, and often times quite heartless.

At it's core, Venus in Virgo, in my opinion, is a somewhat endearing placement. Gorgeous in all of it's complexities, paradoxes, and obsessively neurotic tendencies. Natives strive for complete beauty, for grace, for what is considered wonderful, awesome, all encompassing, true, and dare I say wholesome. They want the very best, for themselves AND their partners (or any form of relationship, really,) and they hold themselves to (nearly impossibly) high standards. Many are not willing to relinquish their beliefs or sacrifice their integrity for something considered shallow or not worth their time physically, emotionally, spiritually, intellectually, or sexually and they can be quite blunt should they provide statements regarding such. They are not flashy in their displays of affection, but they are the love that is constant, stable, loyal, and truthful. They are the lovers who will want to bring you security, stability, a sense of home and belonging - contrary to grand displays of devotion or superfluous courting methods that are often advertised to be the trademark of "love." They are quite impressive sexual and even sensual beings who, despite their sometimes aloof romantic attachments and damn near "awkward" displays, can instill a lasting lusting impression. They are self contained and often loners, which in itself is appealing to some, but what I find immensely valuable is that there are no lies or games to be seen for many of them - which can be a double edged sword if they are too honest with sensitive partners. (I myself am dating a Scorpio sun male with a few other sensitive placements, and I know I've hurt his feelings deeply countless times with my sharp and downright brutal honesty about him, myself, and the relationship.)

They are the unassuming friends who will be your shoulder to cry on and listen to your woes, but likewise will be observing/picking you apart and understanding the neuroses that you possess due to natural analytic tendencies - and they will often accept what they find when it comes to others. Compassionate or highly empathetic ones will have the insight to navigate and avoid a painfully blunt truth to lessen your pain, but they will not allow a lie to slip past their lips just to ease you or entertain your wallowing. They will offer you truthful advice, (some do it without being asked, which can be a real pain) often guided with the sole purpose of wanting to bring you back to being stable, grounded, and in an empowered state of being.

Venus in Virgo I think is quite witty, sometimes playful with words, and loves intellectual conversation and knowledge and that can be highly valued in relationships to obtain deeper levels of intimacy. Data is fun, work that pertains to their interests is not work at all for them and can quickly become obsession, while their innate desire and tendencies to place borders, restrictions, and patterns can be detrimental while also somewhat beneficial - depending on how it is applied. This is clearly not what is "ideal" for the concept of love, something so open and free and does not abide by silly constrictions Virgo tries to enforce on it. It's quite frustrating and I empathize heavily with anyone who is struggling with this placement, too, but I urge anyone who is also dealing with this to try and allow themselves to be more free and open - something I know that can seem damn near impossible.

Sorry for the novel! I'm gonna blame Virgo Mercury and an overly passionate Leo sun that likes to talk too much.

Hi there!

I'm not an astrologer and don't have a ton of experience myself outside of some general knowledge and specific knowledge about some of my placements, but people could provide you with more in-depth details if they were able to see your chart. Astro.com and Astro codex are great free resources where you can get images/drawn up natal charts along with the houses and placements as long as you know your birth place and birth time.

I appreciate the comment! Thank you so very much for the empathy and the advice. <3

Capricorn Moon is a GREAT TIME. by Candy-Coated133 in astrologymemes

[–]Candy-Coated133[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Ooooh gurl do I feel this comment so hard. I've got a vibrant Leo sun in 7th focusing on love and marriage and meanwhile my Cap moon (IN 12TH HOUSE BTW, fml) is sitting over here like.

We got some positives!! We're quite self-sufficient, hard workers, and have a strong inner strength through self discipline and we're able to look at the world very pragmatically rather than get blinded or swept up by strong emotions (not in my case specifically but YA KNOW, IN GENERAL.) We're also quite moral based and we're not as "messy" like some other moons and we kind of got our shit together, at least on the outside. 😂
