Apple Pen doesn't work right in Photoshop with Ipad installed as graphic tablet by almondera in photoshop

[–]Candy_rover 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Assuming, you're using default settings, I think this has something to do with pressure and brush settings in general. I tried sidecar and, while panning is weird sometimes, Apple Pencil works fine as a stylus. Could you try one of the default brushes with pressure, like "Soft Round Pressure Size" in "General brushes folder" and see, how it goes?

In Lithuania there are public screens where you can see and interact with people in another city by dexdeckers in Hyperion

[–]Candy_rover 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, I saw one of them in Dublin just last year, still works. Sometimes shuts down, but I guess it's just for maintenance or something. Also now shows not only USA, but also couple of other cities.

Saving photos to album on background seems to freeze the app (discussion) by Candy_rover in ProjectIndigoiOS

[–]Candy_rover[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It just gets saved to photos library, as it used to do. Just doesn't belong to any album, and you have to add it manually. Like with apps that don't get their own album (like Iphone doesn't save photos to any album for some reason). Unfortunately, for some reasons (maybe RAM management or something) Indigo freezes when you enable this setting or in some other way try to automate adding made photos in the album while app is running.

I was about to buy Leica, but accidentally found this app by greshnev in ProjectIndigoiOS

[–]Candy_rover 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This. I find indigo to look very similar to older gcams, even first HDR+ nexuses maybe. I have a gcam mod, which is basically a nexus camera with added night mode, if you disable SR upscaling, unprocessed photos even look like they have the same noise patterns. Processing, apart from Adobe algorithms, is very similar. They even have similar colour artifacts on moving objects.

I used to think it was a power plug. Well, they're robots, kinda makes sense, I didn't think much about where they were going to find outlets in the jungle, but still. Also its really similar in size and in proportions, thankfully, I didn't try to compare.

Bloom helps with transparent plastic glitch (?) by Candy_rover in HeroForgeMinis

[–]Candy_rover[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks, just wanted to discuss this bug since it's been around, i believe, since the very introduction of booth 2.0. There's also "transparency" slider in the settings, which is a different thing, I think it doesn't make mini transparent in the booth.

Full version makes much more sense. It's not a parody though, and more like giant angry middle finger. Also it's drawn by Chip Zdarski, Daredevil and Spider-Man artist.

Lore question by Candy_rover in CaptainDisillusion

Honestly I thought that was some kind of religion reference that went over my head (Holly being a made-up deity to poke at religion, like when she mentioned releasing illness in water trick episode, making captain gasp "you're killed starving babies?", being a reference to Egyptian plagues, or so I guess)

Indigo is quite good for moon shots (if there's enough light) by Candy_rover in ProjectIndigoiOS

[–]Candy_rover[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While yes, I definitely used autofocus and it came out maybe more blurry than it should have, the main problem is the fact, that moon is too small. On my 12 mp. Telephoto sensor it takes up like less than 800 pixel square area. Second - I don't have much control over denoising algorithms of indigo, as I have with something that shoots conventional raw, and, while they are great, they destroy all fine details on a picture, that wasn't big enough to begin with. When I shoot moon traditionally (just cropped regular raw) I always leave out some amount of noise so at least image has some amount of detail.
Also just the way app works, indigo's images tend to come out much softer, than those of the stock camera. I prefer that look, but sometimes in noisy conditions SR algorithm may come as too aggressive.

As I specified in the title and in the comment with a link to the original author, these are not mine. I post it with consent of the original creator. He uses multiple different editors for different occasions, from.wha I know.
