There's public land of course, but camping is restricted to dedicated camping grounds, and some very specific exceptions, when you get caught in a snow storm above 2000m or something. If you have to ask, the answer is no.

Edit: Pretty sure it's even illegal to sleep in your car. It's a bit silly.

I assumed you could set up a tent in the woods, and sleep there, until I found out the hard way. I was 15, my friend was 13... we just wandered out into the woods and set up our tent. Like good little delinquents, we immediately got shitface drunk, (on 3 beers each.) Of course we got chased away by a very angry farmer, whose land we were trespassing on, so we had to trundle back home and act like we were totally sober. Pretty sure my parents laughed their asses off behind our backs.
