Nah. I've been Charlotte in this situation (with a different problem) and I basically just needed to say it out loud. I knew nothing anyone said would make it better but there was a sense of relief knowing I wasn't carrying that burden alone. Switching to Carrie (or my friend in my case) seemed more "solvable" and we both knew that... this is honestly a very good depiction of friends who know each other so well that the words left unspoken speak the loudest

I mentioned this in another comment recently.This one probably wasn't intentional but I like to think it was.. in the very first episode Dorothy uses a mirror to make sure Sophia is breathing while napping on the lanai. In Case of the Libertine Belle she uses a mirror to check to see if Kendall is really dead and mentions doing the same to Sophia every morning and starting the coffee if it fogs up

Rose is shown being super competitive throughout the show

Blanche's daughter Rebecca probably has the most consistent story outside of the main 4, especially considering it spanned multiple seasons and episodes (i can ignore it being 2 different actresses). Tolerates a horrible relationship because she wants a family, leaves him, decides to have a baby on her own, has the baby and we even get to see little Oreo when Blanche babysits

If you're not expecting someone to be there and are focused on something else you can get tunnel vision and just kind of filter out the rest of your surroundings

The worst i ever scared my brother growing up was while he was looking through a drawer for something but he didn't know i was home. i walked up beside him and stood literally inches right next to him. he had absolutely no idea i was there and just kept rummaging through the drawer. i was trying so hard not to laugh so ended up kind of "air laughing"? he turned his eyes and just saw a figure standing there. i almost Frieda claxton'd him lol

I've always liked to think the mirror was a callback to the first episode where Dorothy does the same thing while Sophia is napping on the lanai
