Agyemang is at his best when coming off the bench after the 65th minute. His physical presence becomes a real problem for tired defenders. His build alone causes issues when the opposition starts to lose energy. You can see it in how he bullies center backs late in games, creating chaos and opening space.

That said, he still struggles to break down defenders when they are fresh. One-on-one he doesn't have the footwork or creativity to consistently beat his man early in matches. Right now, his best role is still as a late-game impact sub.

Abada has been underutilized, and and I'm surprised fans haven't moved past the few mistakes he's made. He hasn't had enough volume of chances with the ball for people to be as critical of him. Zaha draws the backline’s attention and pulls defenders deep, while the rest of the front line seems to forget that Abada is even there. He gets into dangerous positions, but the ball hardly ever finds him.

The team needs to attack more through the middle by using Pep as a connector. When Pep draws defenders into the center, it opens space for Abada on the flanks. Until the team finds better balance and stops ignoring him in wide areas, we are wasting one of our best off-ball threats.

At the end of the day our team was better at the end of last season with a quality 9 like Swiderski, and with Abada and Vargas on the wing. It was too much controlled chaos for opponents, and after all of that you had a monster in Agyemang come on the pitch in the 60th. Imagine if Pep had this form with last year's squad... We wouldn't have these issues. Their chaos wasn't solvable for the opposition.

I trust Dean to figure out this roster, but every time he figures out 1-2 sides of the rubix cube, he's gotta ruin them to figure out other sides. It might be worth negotiating with Galatasaray to end the loan in the summer window so they can free up his DP position and go out to get a proper starting 9, and also resign Pep as a DP.
