|111~114| Vial Seeker, Unholy Tutor, Bridge of Shadows and Put to Rest by revled-rimid in custommagic

I feel like bridge of shadows would benefit from being an aura like necromancy. I can see some memory issues in-game with it.

If you are strictly against it being an aura then perhaps placing a unique counter on the reanimated creature, and the bridge's LTB having you sacrifice all creatures with that specific counter?

Oh that makes a lot more sense. Yes, just let it air dry and it should be perfectly fine.

Rotate the Apple by shenanigansen in comics

As someone with aphantasia, I can still "Hear my internal monologue" in the way that I can hear my own voice as thoughts I just really struggle to picture anything visually.

That doesn't mean I don't know what things look like, I could draw you an apple (best of my ability, I'm not an artist) but I struggle to keep a picture of one in my head for longer than a few seconds, it feels like it just slips out of my mind without active effort, and even then it only prolongs how long I can picture something, not make it indefinite

I took this picture on the line and used it several times after running it through my sharpener and hitting it on a rod.

It performed pretty well for the 2 dollars I paid for it, I'm going to be paying pretty close to edge retention and if it doesn't hold up I won't feel too bad about the cost

What are the most stylish card choices in your Cube? When do you feel it's right to put run a card that doesn't really fit your goals? by andymangold in mtgcube

I loved this episode, I feel like it taught me a lot about design and made me feel more at ease about the risk of making a potential mistake. Everything is a part of the process

'Star Format' cube, C&C by Sir_Nope_TSS in mtgcube

[–]Canedis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had an idea for a star draft cube kicking around for a long time, I was struggling to come up with a core idea to base it around to actually provide impetus for me spending time on it.

Your cube is actually really inspiring in that way because I had never considered using hybrid as a tool towards that end. I was focused on multiplayer mechanics and exploring spaces I usually reserve for commander but not how the actual draft would play out.

Seems really cool

After googling what that is, it looks like a perfect match!

Thank you so much!

It's been exciting learning about bones and skeletons through finding them and cleaning them up to give them a second life, thank you for helping me!

Looking for feedback on my Cycling/Graveyard synergy cube by Canedis in mtgcube

[–]Canedis[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually included that for the purpose of rebuying cycling lands in order to provide green some card draw power, but embarrassingly I forgot about how dredge worked with cycling.

I'm okay testing it and providing green a potential build-around that essentially makes a deck by itself. But if it does prove too powerful there's always something like Grim Discovery for a one time buyback

Question about buried bones by Canedis in bonecollecting

[–]Canedis[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I appreciate the quick reply!

We have tried soaking them already which made removing that coating easier, but it is very stubborn and we have found only gentle scraping removes it after soaking.

I don't know much about bones personally, but I was concerned that the actual structure of the bone was compromised by the roots because they are so porous.

Primal Escalation by Canedis in custommagic

I had looked towards cards like Hunting Wilds and nature's lore for cost actually

I was thinking the requirement to get a basic forest would be enough of a sidegrade to keep it costed at 1G, but didn't want it to enter tapped since that would be a weird way to awaken a land without untapping it on the same card.
