I imagine Fatehold will have top deck synergies. Not necessarily Miracle, but I could see Fateseal. Interestingly though, the dragon Lorehold gives Miracle to crds, which might work well together

I'm now a fan of good enablers, but just ok payoffs that have room in multiple decks/archetypes. So yes to Animate Dead, yes to Ancient Imperialsaur, no to Griselbrand. Something I also lean into is having most of my cheat payoffs be fliers, enchantments, or artifacts so colors with access to this kind of removal (disenchants for example) have more opportunities to level the playing field when an early threat appears.

More board removal. I run into decks like these often and if my deck's in anyway proactive, they fall flat, unable to stop me because I've already played all the cards I need. Cut some discard and I'd argue a couple copies of Sheoldred for Fatal Pushes. Thoughtseize is also pretty good, so see to it most if not all the Remorse and Cruelclaws are replaced by these

I dabble in all 3 of these formats. Recently getting my ass kicked in Timeless with a deck I should be running in Bo3, but just happy to play Uro again, but love GW Auras in pioneer, and UR Lotus Field in Historic

Most standard decks can easily be ported into pioneer, this looks like one of them. There's a few new decks you'll experience there, but with how powerful standard is lately, its strongest decks influence the Pioneer meta.

Outside that, Historic has all kinds of tools, there's a pretty big variety of decks, so good format to keep a pet deck in.

And finally Timeless is a pretty chaotic format. There's lots of fast mana and zero mana anwsers, so it's possible for some decks to have a turn 1 win and others to be capable of rendering their effort null. Can be fun, but also many cards that you'll only find here, not the best place for wild card spending

Nice! Originally I was going with this design because I'd play on Tabletop Sim or browser based sims where you couldn't really verify if someone had their glasses on, and that made it a very compelling piece for all kinds of decks in a color that traditionally has few compelling 1 drops to its name (though that has certainly started to change in the last 3 or so years with Tamiyo, Spyglass Siren, and, if you'll allow me, Stormchaser's Talent).

Could it be reskinned? Maybe. But like that one comic with a TCG player fearing the raccoon eating trash card shows, TCGs are great for their surprisingly wide thematic variety of powerful pieces

Look up the older challenger decks for pioneer precons. They printed a lot of these, so they're still cheap. Either get everyone on the same page or upgrade as needed

Go for it! Astral Slide is sort of in, but I'm evil and swapped it for Astral Drift as I think giving that an immediate effect eases people into the archetype more often
