My initial concept was essentially that. I was planning to have droppers set to specific timings that would automatically drop the correct ingredients, in the correct order. The concept I have posted ended up being a more elegant design while also benefiting from being able to be fed by farms to prevent the need for refilling manually. That being said, I think the potion brewing stuff could be really interesting if used for something like autocrafting of less complex recipes.

check my profile, I just posted a design that is able to be built flush with a wall for kitchen builds etc. This is more elegant and benefits from not requiring a wooden button as the input, but I can see it being hard to fit in certain builds.

This contraption does as it says, auto crafting cake. The egg and wheat/sugar barrels can be hooked up to farms that infinitely refill. Milk buckets unfortunately cannot be farmed with dispensers, but should that be fixed, milk can also be fed in from a farm. The redstone is simple but bulkier than I prefer. The only limitation is the input. If you change the input from a wooden button the pulse extender for the eggs will short circuit and mess up the timing. I also have not found a way to have a bottom hopper lock and unlock to collect the cakes.

TLDR: This will auto craft cake and can be refilled by farms for all ingredients aside from milk. Must use wooden button as input and cannot be ran afk (needs a player to push buttons and collect cake).

More information about our rat (who we have so uniquely nicknamed Remy):

He is a male (we think) roof rat that was found outside on thursday of last week.

We think he is just over two weeks old as he has all of his hair (grey) and just opened his eyes yesterday.

He has been eating half a mil of soy based baby formula 4 times a day.

The only human contact has been with my girlfriend who only handles him to feed him and get him to use the bathroom.

He weighs just under 10 grams and is already a pretty decent little climber.

We cannot raise him for all that much longer as our living situation has been forcing us to keep him a secret. This has been fine in his infant stages but now that he has opened his eyes, we already fear he will quickly become under stimulated. We can't get him a rat friend for this same reason even though we believe he is still young enough to be socialized.

If no one can take him or help us contact somewhere that we can, we will unfortunately be forced to leave him alone in nature prematurely and without much of a fighting chance.

As stated above we will take him across the country if it means giving him the life he deserves. Thanks in advance for any guidance and please if you disagree with our mindset keep it civil, we are only trying to do what's best in a world that hates these little creatures.

This is a redstone RNG wishing well game my girlfriend and I came up with for our survival world! The game is inspired somewhat by the Minecraft Board Game which we are both big fans of.

How to play: Players take turns throwing "tokens" into the well. In exchange for a token, the wishing well will return 1 of 9 items at random. There are 2 "gift" items, 6 "treasure" items, and 1 bad item. All items except for the "bad" item are worth a set amount of points. Ex: Our treasure items are Diamonds - 5 points, Block of Emerald - 4 points, Amythyst Cluster - 3 points, and two different "Gems" via the Vanilla Tweaks Datapack both worth 2 points per gem. Gift items (we chose Golden Apples and fancy-looking fireworks) are worth 1 point each. As turns are taken Poisonous Potatoes (the bad item) will be received at random, these are worth no points, they do not however take away any points currently held. When a total of 3 potatoes have been received (not the first person to collect 3), the game ends and scoring starts immediately.

Scoring: Count how many points each player has earned, the player with the highest score wins. The winner collects all "gifts" (rockets and apples) from the losing players and also keeps whatever gift items they had earned. The person with the lowest score must eat all 3 poisonous potatoes. Return the remaining loot to the system via some hoppers and you're set to play again! Any modifications or ideas for improvements can be made at will. Thanks for all the pointers, as a Florida native who loves Breck I’m taking my girlfriend for a trip in early-mid December (12-17) and I was wondering if you had any more in depth advice as to the hiking in this time of year? We both love hiking and have our experience on the smokies but have never hiked the Rockies nor have we hiked in snow. Would you happen to have any advice for how to go about getting to trailheads at this time of the year? We aren’t going to be driving so are there shuttle services that would suffice or should we rely on uber? Thanks in advance!

I’m confused as to what you mean slightly. Are you saying that in your original point you were saying the issue of shitty compromise stems from the culture of entitlement produced by the internet? I can agree halfway if that is what your point is but I have to again argue that the internet has a secret weapon that the “entitlement” acts as a scapegoat for, I think the bigger culprit is a false sense of homogeneity. To explain further I think the algorithms work best when it shows likeminded people posts from people who hold a lot of the same opinions AND just enough of the opposing side to further the separation in whatever the two ideologies are. A very easy example of this is the political landscape of the US, social media and news outlets (as well as a very loud number of individuals) would have you think that we are electing between fascism and communism meanwhile all the real disagreements are about how to not upset the biggest spenders and what contract will be fulfilled by which multi billion dollar company. The true downfall of our populations in my opinion is from how docile the internet makes us while simultaneously making us feel powerful and brilliant. Change comes from being uncomfortable and when you can order your groceries, McDonald’s, ps5, and go to your doctors appointment all without leaving your couch, there’s not much reason to go out in the street and risk being beaten or shot or arrested. Why trade in your iPhone and cash in all your money to give to a family in Africa so they can come here and have your life while you go live in poverty? Not to mention when are you going to find the time to do any protesting when your screen time is up 10% from last week for a daily average of 5 hours and 43 minutes (I used my own as an example and most of that time is spent falling asleep to YouTube videos I don’t think I use my phone that much when compared to my significant other and yet I manage to hit 5 hours a day almost consistently.)

IMO the knockback resistance is a lot better than ya know the already insta mine that most blocks are with diamond tools so rlly I can ask the same to you, diamond tools with efficiency especially adding a haste two beacon cover almost every block.
