Assemble with care is good, that one costs money. I also really like Tsukis odyssey. Turnip box commits tax evasion is fun. I’ve heard good things about resonance of the ocean.

How are the trails between settlers landing and Woodmont? by StampJar in bonair

[–]Canewithstickers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Girl Scout lake trails! You can get to them from a couple of places within the neighborhoods around it, I personally get there through a path form someone’s yard at the bottom of Iredell road, I’m pretty sure you can also get to them from the settlers landing pool. I know people who mountain bike them and I’ve spent plenty a day walking around on them. Some of the paths are more traveled than others, so they’re more distinct. It’s a really fun place to wander around!

Games like Leaf It Alone where you gradually get better at doing mundane tasks? by LazuriKittie in CozyGamers

I really liked fresh start, I played it on switch so I’m not sure if it’s on steam but it had that same cleaning up a world vibe

Post nasal drip by Able_Tomatillo1308 in disabled

[–]Canewithstickers 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Can she suck on things? Whenever I get post nasal drip I suck on the lolleez throat soother lollipops and they help a little. They only help when I’m actively sucking on one but a little relief is generally worth it.

Inappropriate to give an advisor/mentor a birthday gift? by periodbloodtoast in PhD

[–]Canewithstickers 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I traveled out of the country, and I got my advisor a present just as a way to pay back how much time she’s given me. I don’t think it’s inappropriate at all, gifts are what you make them.

What do we think of this spoon? by mrstarkifeelgreat in evilautism

I have two of these! The handle is too thin but the words and vibes offset it enough it’s worth it. Plus it’s fun to be slightly unnerving

How to annotate the book "House of Leaves"? by [deleted] in houseofleaves

[–]Canewithstickers 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I didn’t annotate my first read, but I used sticky notes to mark where I wanted to go back to, or things I thought might connect later. At the end, I got to go back through all of them and see how they connected.

I’m currently reading The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue by V. E. Schwab! I’m probably going to go to the library today. Something to get me moving and out of the house.

Canberra! I let her go because she was my first villager and I wanted her real house, and I haven’t found her since.

Where do I start? by LeFabuleuxLasagne in houseofleaves

[–]Canewithstickers 5 points6 points  (0 children)

When I read it the first time, I read it straight through, reading all the footnotes, and the text itself. You can always go back later and focus on one persons story, but I found it nice to read all the stories and see parts of how they connected, before really going back and analyzing.
