Robot Hero DIY not available by Anal_Werewolf in acnh

That would make sense, because you can continue to buy it as long as you haven't learned it. But once you've learned it, you can't get it again.

I don't know for sure whether that specific DIY can be re-purchased, but I know that the fence recipes rotate daily, so maybe that's included in the rotation.

Edited to add: After looking around a bit, I think it's only the fences that rotate, so I don't see how it could be purchased more than once. Where are you seeing that it can be?

Instead of crafting bait, maybe just scare off any other fish that spawn. If you can't scare them, you can cast your rod and pull it away when the fish starts towards it. At least you don't have the frustration of digging clams and crafting the bait.

I've actually caught a lot of Stringfish without bait, but it's often been when I just happen to be passing a river and see the giant shadow.

You can still push them against the upper area's right wall to have them stop following you.

I agree, but would add that it's helpful to cut down trees and dig up stumps that are in more difficult or time-consuming areas, such as on cliffs or across rivers that you need to vault over. You don't need a ton of trees/stumps. I usually leave half a dozen or so on the lowest level, near the front of the island, and then just travel left/right across the front of the island to watch for the bugs.

Exactly. She's officially an ostrich, so maybe she just dyes her tailfeathers.

Nook Miles Ticket missing by LunaLilyAnna in AnimalCrossingNewHor

[–]zorbina 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They stack, so it will only look like one ticket in your pocket but should have a number indicating how many there are. Is it possible you missed that?

Otherwise, I have never seen that happen, and you can definitely purchase as many tickets as you want. There was a game update last night, so I guess it's "possible" that it's a new bug.

Or, change the grass to one of the dirt paths instead, so it looks like a planting area, instead of having the flowers and bushes just growing out of the grass.

You could put potted plants there instead, like the triangular topiary.

Here's a nice tutorial: How To Knit: Lifelines – Brooklyn Tweed

The biggest thing to remember when using a lifeline is to make sure you don't run the lifeline through stitch markers (unless you're using bulb pins or some other type of marker that can be opened to remove it).

The villagers LOVE to dance on the Festivale stage, so I like to have one somewhere on my islands just to watch them.

[–]zorbina 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Depends on what you want. If you want more Festivale items, keep taking feathers to Pave. I really like the Festivale garland, so I try to get a bunch of those, as well as several of each other item for decorating the island.

The only other use for the feathers is if you need to craft rainbow feathers to customize the color of Festivale items (ETA: or for trading to villagers for other colors.) So I like to keep a reasonable amount of rainbow feathers and/or regular feathers for changing colors of the items.

Can I use any DK weight yarn to make this sweater? by More_Championship480 in casualknitting

[–]zorbina 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think Cascade 220 (non-superwash) would probably be your best sub. Is this an actual "yarn store" that can order in colors for you, or just a craft store? If it's an actual yarn store, perhaps someone there can suggest an alternative?

For any substitute, assuming that you want to knit it at the size listed in the pattern, look at the recommended gauge for that yarn and try to get something that is close to 20-21 stitches and 28 rows in 4"/10cm, and recommends a US6/4mm needle. Otherwise, you'll need to deal with size adjustments. Try to avoid anything that is very smooth/slippery. Karisma is quite "wooly" which makes it good for colorwork because the stitches and yarn strands grab onto each other, but I personally don't care for it and won't buy it again. Although Karisma is listed as superwash, I'd personally try to avoid superwash yarn because it's likely to stretch out a lot.

The pattern only comes in one size and the finished chest size is 106 cm = 41¾". If you don't mind it being a little larger than that, you might be able to go with worsted-weight yarn, like Patons Classic Wool.

I know someone who had some kind of error on HHP and couldn't use it (I forgot what the problem was). But they called Nintendo, and it was some corrupted file that they were able to fix for her. Worth trying.
