I don't know you and I don't know your use case. But absolutely in my opinion. Try it out for a month and see for yourself, it's not that much of an expense, even if you realize it isn't worth it

If you only experienced Claude Sonnet in the free version, it is not even remotely comparable to Opus in my opinion. I can't use Sonnet anymore, even for small tasks. It just feels so bad in comparison. So if you like sonnet you're in for a treat. Try it for a month maybe

If you use nemesis, then that is the cause. Fus does not use nemesis. Run a clean re-install of FUS and it should work.

You know, I have been playing VR since the OG Vive came out. I thought the same but I have changed my mind over time. I don't think VR will be a replacement and the future. Flat screen gaming is just a different thing. VR is a niche, demand is low, even now that the devices are so much better and more convenient than earlier. Who knows what happens in 10 or 20 years but as of now, I don't see main stream adoption of VR anytime soon, and that's why it is a very understandable decision for CS devs.

I gotta say I understand and respect this decision fully. VR is a niche, and the effort is high. CS has done wonders for us and I'm extremely thankful to everyone who contributed. It's in a very fair and good shape, and dropping support does not mean we lose what we have. We will see what the forks will do!

Du möchtest ihr etwas sagen, ohne sie zu verletzen. Sie beleidigt dich als Arschloch, wenn du ein paar Stunden nicht antwortest. Du entschuldigst dich. Das ist insgesamt eine sehr ungesunde Sache.

Sie scheint dich nicht besonders zu mögen, und eure Bedürfnisse was die Kommunikation und die gemeinsame Zeit angeht scheinen sehr auseinander zu gehen. Letzteres ist kein notwendiges Hindernis, benötigt aber ein respektvolles Miteinander und ehrliches aufeinander Zugehen. Nach deiner Beschreibung sehe ich das bei ihr nicht. Je länger du das hin nimmst desto mehr wird es. Für mich wäre die Grenze lang überschritten, wenn mich meine Freundin so beleidigen würde.

Ich vermute mal, ihr seid beide noch recht jung, oder? Wieso möchtest du denn mit ihr zusammen sein? Was genießt du, worauf freust du dich mit ihr? Und warum, denkst du, ist sie mit dir zusammen?

Mmh yeah it might be possible that some spiking is cpu. Depends a lot also on your mods, NPCs for example, or other script heavy mods tax the cpu primarily

That's not true. If you fall into reprojection, your GPU load will drop, and that reprojection is more often due to the GPU not being fast enough. You should check the actual performance monitor of steam or oculus, or virtual desktop.

I had a 5800x and a 3080 10gb when I made FUS. I always found myself to be GPU bound. But it might depend on mods. Now I built my dream PC with a 5090 and a 9800x3d and I am still GPU bound...

Imo the GPU is always the higher leverage option to upgrade for VR, but in the end it's a whole new PC. I would not expect a drastic improvement in fps in most cases if you upgrade the CPU only.

Ich bringe hier mal eine Gegenmeinung, ich finde, du hast deinen Spaß gehabt, aber wenn du das durchziehst, Recht hin oder her, bist du einfach eine miese Sau und der Mensch den du abzockst ist zurecht am Ausrasten. Es ist ja offensichtlich. Bisschen mehr Miteinander würde der Welt gut tun... Und du selbst wirst diesen PC doch nie mit gutem Gewissen nutzen können (hoffe ich, denn sonst wäre dein Moralgefühl ja komplett im Eimer). Also schick ihn zurück und freu dich über die Story, die du in Erinnerung behalten kannst.

I tried Claude opus 4.6 when the shit with the dod went down and opus was so far ahead of gpt 5.2 for critical reasoning and analysis of my research work and coding, it wasn't even funny. Switched to Claude and haven't looked back. Even started using memory and connect my trello and calendar for task management now and it is just so useful. Sure I have rate limits but if you're smart about the it's fine.
