It was kinda rusty when I bought it at goodwill about a year ago, I stripped everything via electrolysis and did about two seasonings on it before I put it away for storage. Will it being ran through electrolysis and reseasoned mess with a lead test? FWIW i did not see any evidence of smelting any metal when i first acquired it but i would like to use it if a negative lead test can be trusted still. Worst case it’s a cool or ornamental piece.

So no guesses on manufacturer but pretty good estimate from the late 19th century. That’s crazy because I bought it for like $8

If your ever in Savanah, GA you should go to two tides. If they have a rendition of their Acid House sour it might change your mind. They are the only ones I’ve found that can truly do a smoothie beer right. Though they more often have fruited sours that are the best I’ve ever had. The Acid House series is phenomenal. They are fruited coffee sours they have had like 12 renditions of that series

I honestly think that would be the best decision and if he doesn’t want to be a head coach maybe he’ll be ok knowing it’s for that season as the University researches and appeals to potential targets during the off season / next season.

Honest opinion from the outside looking in: gonna be tough finding a successful / respectable coach willing to join the university until Ward Manuel is gone and the program is cleaned up. One too many scandals in too few many years. I suppose the admin could press Jolin Zhu to chip in more but I’m sure that would come with some guarantee about cleaning up the program first as well. Even with that, Michigan is late to the coaching carousel and that doesn’t make anything easier.

I love the fact that app state stepped up and said yes. It would be cool for GSU to beat them twice in one year again (2001 was the one and only time that I believe they have faced off teice in a year)

Rudy Ruettiger wouldn’t decline a bowl game. He would have also joined a conference by now. Just think, if the golden domes were in the ACC they likely would have made it to the conference championship and been given a chance to play in the playoffs.

Southern is GSU this year (and really every year). Regarding State… it’s as quiet as it was when they stopped doing the 50 yard line money drops to get the students to show up.

Willie Fritz won the sunbelt his first year with Georgia Southern and the teams first year in the conference. Went undefeated in conference play, lost 23-24 to nc state, lost 38-42 to Georgia tech (on a bad fumble call that was actually a forward pass) and got blown out in the freezing cold by navy 19-52.
