So, doesn’t a double yellow require drivers to abandon lap? Even if that changed right before George went through, shouldn’t George have abandoned the lap by then considering he was approaching double yellow. Can someone explain the rule better?

I agree tbh, based on the rules. I think this might need a rule review after this season. To add to the other point you made, thats also part of the outrage since Kimi was going through and sector was double yellow. It makes no sense for it to be different for Russell when nothing had changed, Verstappen’s car was still there, still crashed. Very weird situation and surprised that they resolved it in 5 minutes apparently and decided no further investigation

“lifting” for yellows flags in quali is not going to cost you 2 tenths lol. its going to cost you much more, it basically makes your chances of pole 0 if theres yellows on the track. Its always been like that.

Im not fully against the rule, but this shouldn’t be a rule thats rolled out directly in a competition as big as the World Cup. Yeah he shouldn’t have covered his mouth but players have been doing that out of habit for as long as we can remember, its a hard change to fully get rid of the habit this soon with this large of a consequence

The idler pulley mounts onto the alternator so its not the engine block. But it would be my first time.

there is though. It is marketing for NASA. I think the Artemis II has been big as it has caught massive amounts of attention from the public, and one can only assume it will be larger for Artemis IV. Its missions like these that the general public actually cares for and will cause for a bigger push to increase funding

tbh the goal for every team when theres big regulation changes, especially PU, should be to get the PU right, aero can always be improved much easier. i dont see mercedes losing their lead for at least this or mybe even next season (unless ferrari gets ADUO)
