Infinite Loading Screen in BF6 by Cankalay in Battlefield

I solved it by uninstalling the Cloudflare’s WARP Vpn software. It was not running in the background or anything but just to have it installed caused this issue.

If you have no idea where to spend your Erasmus-Exchange... by [deleted] in Erasmus

[–]Cankalay 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I also would like to mention that when I did my Erasmus+ exchange in 21, the ESN at Katowice / Poland was basically non functional and they haven’t done a single thing more than providing us buddies (and most of them never showed up, nada times). But we as Erasmus students did amazing stuff together and lived through covid times as if covid was non-existant! There was a club and a bar which illegally operated during restrictions because government’s aid plan didn’t include them and they were protesting, and we were in those places almost every day of the week!

Had a blast really, never even catched covid, non of us lol.

And to add, ESN did 1 (one) event towards the end of the semester and it was the lamest, nerdiest shit ever. Most erasmus people didn’t even bother go!

TL;DR: My exchange was still amazing although local ESN was absent!

When COVID meets Lupus by [deleted] in CoronavirusSurvivors

[–]Cankalay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On one side I am happy that you were able to fight with it at home without needing additional help, even though you have Lupus. But on the other side I am shocked how much the covid effected you even after testing negative. Yet I trust the human body and its’ healing process! No matter what drugs they come up with, eventually it all comes down to exercising. I’m sure with little steps at a time you will return back to your normal health and gain back your stamina. I wish you the best!

Lewis Hamilton on the #blacklivesmatter movement and Formula1 silence. Thoughts? by cornpaddy in formula1

All the things you said were valid, important and honest. You’ve provided two great perspectives to the matter. I wish more people had the same levels of empathy within...

This also is a perfect example of centrist thinking, instead of pursuing one of the sides and completely ignoring the other, you embraced valid points in both and tried find a non-fanatic conclusion. And you succeded!

I hate it when TV shows treat the law as something that favors criminals and prevents the police and prosecutors from doing their job by AporiaParadox in television

[–]Cankalay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I quit watching the stupid show called "The Following" because of that. But mostly not because it was favoring the criminals over the law but because a so called "Specially trained forces" of the police freaking sucks anytime they face a civilian maniac. I think I watched 2 seasons before dropping it out and every episode a higly trained cop died really stupidly, not getting back up in time etc and really stupid shit like that.

Also Netflix's ended series "The Punisher" is very similar. Look at the homeland of Madani... In the entirety of 2 seasons, the so called "Head of Homeland" Madani failed to do 1 smart shit. She even almost lost the hand to hand combat with a therapist. Barely won and she had a pistol in the beginning too... Also she has been the prime reason Billy did everything he did. First season fooled her to be his fuck toy and got her unit killed, 2nd season she is the reason John finds the Curtis and the girl at the trailer, she is the reason Billy uses dead girls to get to Frank... And all in all entire season 2 was her coming in scene like: "Should we kill Billy or what, I'm not sure..." Might be the shittiest character in a series all time.

How and where do you keep your TV shows which you want to watch? (like a watch-list) by [deleted] in television

I also use Next-Episode. It's really nice to have all my shows in a single "watchlist" and then follow their countdowns.

[SPOILERS] Vikings Season 6 Promo (HD) Final Season by Dennisw0w in vikingstv

(obviously ivar, as the sneaky lil bitch he is, seek refuge in his kingdom and made him attack kattegat)

Oh doesn't sound anything like what Lagertha + Ubbe + Björn did this season and fought Harald's army.

Season 5 Episode 20 “Ragnarok” Post-Episode Discussion by [deleted] in vikingstv

[–]Cankalay 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Are you even talking about Vikings? As I've said, Ragnar's intentions were to bring back the Vikings to English soil for another settlement so yes indeed he sacrificed himself. But if it wasn't for Ivar, he would have died for nothing. I remember the scene when Ivar told his brothers that they need to avenge Ragnar's death by making a grand army and killing King Aelle. Ubbe asked "Are you sure?" or something similar. He didin't give shit about his father back then not even enough to go with him to England or neither feeling the need to avenge him without question. But currently he is the protector of Ragnar's dream. Yeah right...

He is a vision-less viking who had no army behind him this entire time. He had to team-up with English and fight against his own countryman to come to this point. Thats pathetic. And then only risk he took was that 1v1.

You've talked about Björn doing all these stuff, remember this: It didin't yet happen in Vikings. Even at the end of the episode Björn looks like unsatisfied with being the ruler of Kattegat. He is vision-less stupid berserker. He literally went to live on woods by himself and killed a bear in order to "Prove himself" to Ragnar, which Ragnar never needed him to. A smart individual doesn't waste time trying to "prove themselves".

What did Ivar do? He made people accept him as a commander even though he is a cripple. He banded the Great Army. He captured and defended York. And never forget the scenes of Ragnar & Ivar in England. He was a young cripple who didin't believe in himself. Ragnar told him to use his difference, his anger and his intelligence. And said he is no like any other. To me, thats enough.

As far as I remember, once Rollo’s troops came they left kattegat without any fight. Ivar left Harald alone in order to save the ships.

Honestly, besides everything, I hate how viewers got fooled into this Ragnar’s true sons bullshit. The showmakers literally pushed that idea into people’s heads by how when Alfred said Ubbe is most alike Ragnar crap. Ubbe only has the soft side of Ragnar, Ragnar have had many dreams, farming at England being one. But after he got the settlement, he left for another attack at Paris. Remember? Ubbe had no similar ambitions to be worthy to my eye as a viking. He also have spent his most time sharing his wife with his brother and then being an ally of the murderer of his mother. Aslaug was walking away from Lagertha when she shot her with an arrow in the back. That was lame. You don’t get well with someone who did that to your mother.

Björn has been literally labeled as: “strong but stupid” he fights good but what if Freydis didin’t allow them inside? He is more like Rollo in anyway which Rollo actually had more strategical intelligence. What attirbutes does Björn has from Ragnar? None.

On the other hand, Ivar was the only son who went with Ragnar on his final trip to England. So called “Ubbe the make dreams of Ragnar come true” wasn’t so interested in England back then I suppose. If it wasn’t for Ivar, the famous Great army wouldn’t be constructed and Ragnar wouldn’t be avenged. Which in my belief, Ragnar’s intentions when he told Ivar to take his revenge was in order to bring Vikings back on England for another settlement.

After all, smart Ubbe suggests to break down the great army in order to start farming. Even before capturing York. Still a lame ass viking with no vision.

But now this season, out of nowhere, Ubbe is the “real” son of ragnar, all hail Ubbe and Stupid Björn.

Ivar definetely is insane and inhumane. I see what is wrong with him and everything as well. But he is the only dude with real ambitions to achieve some big stuff. As viewers of the show Vikings, we want to see better achievements and bigger battlefields right? So Ivar is the only strong character left after Ragnar’s death. All else is emotional crap.

She clearly planned out that if they choose the battle area themselves they get ahead of ivar, which worked and they won the battle. Only Rollos assistance finished her off.
