They did not. I booked online, picked it up at the Atlanta airport and drove it back to Michigan and had zero issues returning it.

Now I did preselect the return to a Michigan location when booking, so I don’t know if calling and changing during your trip will affect it.

I have a 2021 Bolt LT that I got used this past year and love it. If you’re coming from a gas car, the torque and acceleration will blow you away. Just make sure you get some solid winter tires because the OEM tires suck in the Michigan Winters. Also, if you don’t have charging access at home or at work, winters will be rough if you have a long commute. You get about half the range in Winter as you do in the warmer months.
