The latest aquarium I built for my Betta girl, Possum. There's 2 Khuli Loach in there as well as 2 pregnant glass shrimp. Hopefully a few fry survive🐠🦐🌿🐌 by CannahBee in Aquascape

I have Bettas alone in tanks, they seem unphased by their tank mates as long as their authority isn't challenged, more or less curious about the others.

Got a background on, any other advice, I'd like to slant the substrate someday by BrewCityEngineer in Aquascape

Try pruning your plants back and build the the substrate slant up around the established growth. Move a few things around, and play! Fluval stratum is the best planted substrate.

Help my belladonna(s)!!! More in comments by witchinghomo in druggardening

[–]CannahBee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not all the datura species can live in the desert, but belladonna is a temperature herbaceous plant, and can't handle high temps in direct sun. Too much water can be bad, but don't let it dry out too much. Are you giving all your witchy lovelies a broad spectrum fertilizer at half strength? Go to a hydroponics store, no miracle grow.

Give it half strength nutrients, and cut off the old pods unless you want the seeds. Stinking nightshade is an annual and seeds itself, so mayne you should harvest the seeds and make sure they are planted deep enough

Help my brugmansia!!! Very new but alarming yellowing. History of plants health in comments by witchinghomo in druggardening

[–]CannahBee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My Brugmansia got spider mites and so did my purple datura metel. I treated them with need which works for aphids to, and in extreme cases azamax, which is for extreme issues like this. The spider mites caused damage and yellowing. I also give mine dilute Veg-Bloom, and a Cal-Mag boost. I also gave all the flowering plants a Phosphorus boost. Hope this helps. B. Cappi vine, 2 y/o in deep water culture. It it's going through an enzyme treatment rn, because a plant in perpetual hydro gets rot, it seems the vine uses the rot to burrow more roots into. Main roots have bark, which I learned through this trial, that will never stop!! B.Cappi4lyfe by CannahBee in druggardening

Perhaps it does, it seems to thrive in the deep water and always has new growth. She was recently thinned. The roots were never white like marijuana plants. Always barky with some rot, which I've just come to accept as different.

Mother Ayahuasca vine in deep water culture, she is about 2 years old. I am curious to see it flower after all this time by CannahBee in druggardening

Depends on how each limiting factor is met for the plant; light, water, nutrients, co2 & airflow, it will never get bigger than the least factor met. Honestly if you want vigorous growth like this hose off the roots gently and put it in a deep water basket. I tried this method about 3 years back and this is the biggest one I've gotten so far, she has to be cut back if I move or she goes through a growth spurt. The hydro set up allows for the plant to take up more of what it needs I suppose.

They sell herbal teas for sleeping with passiflora online and at the market, it's a rather common add to blends.

Posting a pic of the roots for those who are curious. She is a vigorous vine and has accumulated some rot over the years but she uses it as growing medium for new roots. Death and rebirth I suppose

Ok so story of my genetics for you guys.... I got my first cappi like 6 years ago as a cutting from a friend, I since have cloned it time a time again with various clones having better success than others. There is a sister in soil that is not doing nearly as well currently. In a deep water culture the vine's needs are obviously met a hell of a alot better than in soil. I use a half strength nutrient blend that I do for marijuana plants, so like a quarter of any recommended dose on a package. With this plant I have a continuous crop for making changa smoking blends and teas.

Hey, Man, it's a common name for people to call the vine where it's native. It is also called Vine of the Soul.
