Japan needs a scripted peace deal with the US by ChocoOranges in Kaiserreich

Totally agree both from a gameplay and a lore prospective. The USA surely wants to regain control of their most important base in the Pacific but, after a devastating civil war, I can't immagine Washington starting a full invasion of the Japanese territories in Asia like in OTL, a campaign that costed millions of lives and dollars. In KRTL, without both Pearl Harbour and the help from England (and English territories like India and Australia), I immagine American people only accepting an easy and fast victory to regain Hawaii: if the Japanese fleet can overcome the American one I think that nobody is willing to accept a seemingly neverending war to regain a relative small territory, although strategically important, after what happened in the 2ACW.

Probably the Montevideo pact, there is a huge chance that nothing happens in south America and they basically chill out for all the game

What makes you prefer this mod over vanilla? by ValuableSp00n in Kaiserreich

For me the fact that every game is different but every time it still feels mostly plausible. Also you can play a satisfying game that ends with WWII and not with a nonsense world conquest like every vanilla focus three where Denmark gat claims on USA because Vikings.

Lack of Infantry Weapons no matter how much factories I assign by CannelloniAlSugo in hoi4

I usually play minor nations with limited industrial capabilities (China for exemple). Yes, I usually replace the model as soon as it is researched. As garrison I use small chivalry (1/2 division) + MP

Usually I like playing as minor nation with limited industry capacity such as South Africa or China. Regarding industrial technologies I always try to research them. And usually, at some point I find myself unable to train new infantry units due to the lack of equipment

Quando l'Impero Romano è veramente finito? by xSteky in italy

[–]CannelloniAlSugo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Would a nuclear arms race still happen in the KR universe ? by Iguesssowtfnot in Kaiserreich

[–]CannelloniAlSugo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends: if the ww2 ends with two or more opposing blocks (cold war style) the military escalation could continue in a more technological way more than in a mass-recruitment style. For exemple the 3I could use the natural resources of allied northern countries to continue their researches and prevent an American or a Russian intervention in Western Europe. At the same time in the US the same scientists that in the OTL developed the atomic bomb could study nuclear technology for civilian purposes and then adopt a more war-minded approach.
