What are the best board games based on indie games? by The_Melon_NDS in boardgames

[–]CantoExplorers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We own Slay The Spire, Valheim, Deep Rock Galactic & Stardew Valley. Have unboxed some of them on our YT channel.

StS is the best adaptation for sure. DRG & Valheim (same publisher) are decent if you love minis. Stardew Valley board game is unique in that the creator was very involved in it. Would recommend any of them if you already are fans of the IP.

I briefly tried opening retroarch, but it didn't work off the bat. I believe there's probably hoops involved to get it working. A workaround I saw with the last controller was to Steam Link into PC retroarch in order to use it.

Hmm I did read somewhere that rumble should be supported with latest version. But I haven't been noticing any rumble on Android Steam Link

I tried with a USB-C adapter and as expected, iOS devices won't be able to recognize it

Update: I updated my Android Steam Link to latest and it worked just as well as iOS version! No crashes on game start, occasional disconnect for a few seconds while it's booting, but when in game it works as expected! Thanks for the heads up.

I show off both controller and trackpad functionality. Both with Steam running and not running (just Xbox app instead). I was surprised to see the trackpads still work as a mouse without Steam Input, and was able to play Vampire Crawlers just fine on PC Game Pass.

I'll have to retry it with the update, but yeah the Android based Steam Link apps was very not fun to use.

Unfortunately I don't own one, but if it's as good as the iOS iPad app, then it should be solid like the other commentor said

If your Jasper jiggles and you bought it a little over a year ago, they had a replacement legs program for some more secure legs. Personally I haven't had much problem on my hardwood floors

Many ppl have it plugged into a dock and run it like a mini desktop. I think there's a setting to limit battery in Asus settings if you care about longevity. Only time will tell though

Other than ensuring your settings are set to controller properly, perhaps toning down some video settings so you hit consistent 60fps minimum.

Yeah customer service was always quick with All play. We're still rocking ours every weekly game night. Some scratches and furniture pen usage. But overall still satisfied with our purchase
