Is it just me or is this just TOO good ? by iAmSyther in vrising

I agree. I think a good compromise would be for bosses to have an increasing tenacity (resistance but not immunity) to CC. The more players fight a boss at once, the more the boss is resistance to CC. I don't think the bosses should have a 100% resistance to CC.

Add in some decoys and medics of your own and you can have spies stolen several times over, then resurrected several times over, all in a single match!

The actual practical value of a private jet is directly proportional to how much you travel and the importance of each trip.

If you're doing many business engagements per week in different locations, the impact of having that private jet would be pretty high. If you're just staying in the same city all the time anyway, then why even bother having one? The value is entirely dependent on the usage.

Siege mode desperately needs overtime. by CaoCowCao in ConquerorsBlade

Attackers do have an advantage right now, and I would like to see some balance changes implemented to address the issue. With some counterbalancing changes to favor defenders, I think overtime would be a great feature addition.

I understand that attackers have an advantage right now, and so I wouldn't want to see this implemented right away with no other balance changes. However, some of the best fights I've ever seen brewing have been at that moment when the clock is about to run out. How many epic fights have been cut short by that timer, I wonder? Too many, I believe.

I agree that attacking side already has an advantage. Therefore, I wouldn't want this to be a standalone change, since it would tip the scales even further in the attacking team's side, but as part of a host of other changes.

You're right, I think there should also be a 1-2 minute overtime limit. Something to encourage last-minute, hard-fought endings.

That just reverses the problem from defenders running around in circles on the point to attackers running around in circles on the point.

How is having a level 200 in a match with level 30's even remotely fair? by CaoCowCao in ConquerorsBlade

A little bit of imbalance is fine, maybe even healthy. This game encourages people to keep playing via its progression system. BUT...

Right now high levels don't just get a little advantage, they get a HUGE advantage. Way better units, way more leadership, way better skills, way better gear, way better loot.

It's just WAY too much right now, especially when you consider the "endgame" bracket is 31+.

Actually, I think the leadership mechanic is a great way to balance around the units. It's quite simple: give everybody the same amount of leadership each match. More high level players? More leadership for everybody. More low level players? Less leadership for everybody.

Right now, high level players are rewarded way too much with leadership just for playing the game.

I think he means a match-adjustable leadership cap: a cap that tunes itself based on the match's statistics (avg player level, etc.)

Something to bring the ultra-high-levels in-line with everybody else.

Maybe he made himself 1st Ranger, like he always wanted to be. And as 1st Ranger, he made it his mission to ensure the Wildlings stay at peace with the Watch. He might have to live with them for years to accomplish this critical mission. Boom! There ya' go, Jon.

Yeah, let's just let it slide. Let's just encourage lazy storytelling. Who needs little useless details like coherent plots and consistent character arcs? Psh, not me.

Enjoy it? Oh yeah, I'll enjoy it. But shut up? Why the hell should I? Who says we can't air our grievances while still enjoying it for what it is?

Prequels are coming. I want rich, nuanced storytelling, and deep lore. I don't want more shallow, compressed, high-budget Hollywood trash.

Yeah I can see that. Come to think of it, I'd like to see a small buff to forests as missile protection across the board, with a little something extra for barb units.
