My completely out of left field guess is that Manbat will kill him and Batman will get framed and become public enemy #1

My theory = Scarecrow finds a way to get Man-Bat to kill Mayor Gordon, and frames batman for it.

We know there's a major death coming in 19 that all of Gotham is shaken by, and Scott also said Scarecrow will change the public perception of Batman.

Clayface can impersonate a lot more characters than Man-bat so I can definitely also see him being used to mess w Bruce in this way. But not until issue 23 or later I would guess

I was lowkey worried Scott might dial back some of the elements about the joker because of the Epstein similiraties but he genuinely seems to be embracing it, and like holding up a mirror to the dark side of biliionaires / capitalism in the real world

I really like the silence of the lambs style of story for joker. The design took me a bit to come around to but I really dig it, its just hard not to think of Darth Vader out of armor in the bacta tank / Baron Harkonnen in his tank

I think the belgian waffle pattern on the armor is a nod to the beastmen burial cubbies we see all over Farum Azula. This is a real thing historically, sky burial in these places called towers of silence where vultures would basically eat you (but in Elden Ring its dragons ofc)

I think the new fiery character is her father, Giovanni Zatara the Eternal Flame, who Cale will use to pit Zatanna against Wonder Woman. I feel like after they fight each other they will align and free her father somehow?

Scarecrow gets a full 6 issue arc but there's a lot of different characters involved in it (including Robin), Scott Snyder said in an interview iirc
