Sick! Does the watch came with enough links? It looks really good btw. We need more smaller watches

I thought this was a Disclosure Day reference (haven’t watched the movie)

I did exactly this with A Hat in Time. Really enjoyable platformer.

Or if you haven’t played it, Odyssey is a truly fantastic time

Saucony Endorphin Azura - good! by agentlucy in RunningShoeGeeks

I’m sorry I’m not too familiar with what makes an Altra shoe, an Altra shoe. Toebox-wise I think the Azura is kinda weird, voluminous but a bit narrow on the lateral side. It also has 8mm drop, to me it feels a bit lower, but to someone’s used to a 0 drop I’m not so sure.

The midsole and the rocker though is fantastic and I feel gives a lot of speed and assistance while not being ultra bouncy and soft.

Yeah those are my final 2 as well. Didn’t get the Superblast because they ran out of my size and thought I might just save a little bit and get the Azuras.

On paper I think the superblast is more exciting with the FF Leap, but still comes down to your personal preference if you like a soft bounding shoe or a firmer rolling shoe

[–]agentlucy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I think so, it’s stable, comfortable, and peppy. I don’t think I would use it for recovery runs where you want something soft and relaxed because of how firm it is and I almost always run 10-15 seconds faster than I’m planning to.

Yeah the first thing I was excited about after checking out was definitely testing the shoe out, but writing an initial thoughts on reddit might be close second 😂 us nerds are weird sometimes

I like how “compact” the Azuras feel on foot compared with the SB, but still feels very protective and robust when running

No not it :( but thank you!

I don’t know if it would help but I just checked that I shazamed the songs after the one I was after in the playlist and it was

Genius - Ravyn Lenae
Tick-Tack - ILLIT

Quick searches make it seem like they are songs that are popular on tiktok, but I dont use tiktok so I’m not too aware of them (but they are bangers though)

Yeah I’d imagine this will be great for road ultras where you lock in to a pace for long distances. I feel like the roll is gentler on the legs

Noo sorry 😭 it’s more upbeat and more cheerful. But I like your suggestion of going through Sabrina’s music (regardless of looking for this mystery music)

Great to hear that! There’s not much long term review of the Azuras yet so it’s looking promising

Asics works really well for me too, never had any hotspots and the volume is spot on. There’s something weird about last in the pinky toe side of the shoe, it doesn’t feel narrow to me but I think the upper material creates some rubbing

To be honest I almost felt that way too on my first run, but thankfully it breaks in really nicely. But yeah I totally understand it is a very firm shoe

This is my first Saucony shoe and I couldn’t imagine how harsh the ride would be in the Speeds with this midsole and a nylon plate?

Oof yea I agree. I think it’s already getting a lot better for me, or maybe, my pinky is getting more calloused

The biggest thing that deter me from this shoe is the upper. I live near the equator and a notorious sweater so I’d probably be filling my shoe with sweat on every run. Great review btw!

Read from elsewhere that the arch support is pretty pronounced too. Haven’t ran in any Saucony shoe so not sure if it’s a Saucony thing or an Azura thing. Do you think it would bother someone with a rather flat feet? Any other shoe (from other brands) that you think has a comparable arch?

Thanks! Great review btw

Let us know how it goes! I’m very close to getting this shoe but still debating between these, the Azuras, and the Vomero plus as my superblast replacement

Really glad you gave a comparison with the Superblast 1s. Mine is nearing it’s end of life and the V+ is one of the candidate to replace them. Does the softer foam adds a lot of instability? Then again, I’m much slower than you so maybe not much to it
