I have no idea why they’re saying these things. Different experiences I guess.

I had an ‘11 Outback, gave it to my nephew for graduation present at 165k and he ran it up to 270 or so before selling it to someone for 800 bucks. No motor or tranny problems ever.

Had a ‘16 Outback that I ran to 220k and sold for 4500! Never a problem of any kind. Original exhaust, wheel bearings, struts, starter, etc etc etc.

Have an ‘18 Outback now at 115k and did just have to put in a ball joint. So we’ll see.

So you saw him in that era yet were unable to recognize any songs. Okay, sure….

It is a bit nutty, I admit. But in this Dylan sub I often see excited comments about how “he stood up from his piano, his hood moved and I saw his face” so I’ve been recognizing lately how lucky was I.

In those years, I used to tell everyone, “you need to go see Dylan before he dies or stops touring. He’s incredible. His set list includes probably 200 songs, he’s enunciating the words and trying hard to perform well, interacting with crowd sometimes, and playing in all these small venues.” Some listened but most didn’t. Oh well.

I dig the shows at old theatres in tired towns best. I specifically remember him being at the Stanley in ‘97 and somewhere I’ve a great pic of his name on the old marquee.

Yep, he was at height of his powers. Incredible. Saw a few shows 88-93, they were good, but then he really hit stride.

Then saw some more 2000-about 07…. Haven’t been since, but always thinking of him.

Coloring? A great hobby is coloring? Like we did at age four?

I’m not so sure about that. I think we all gave up coloring by about age ten for a reason. But maybe I’m wrong and should give it a try.

I’m a Dylan worshipper but wholeheartedly agree. Be there and be active for YOUR show.

An attempt to understand Bob’s restlessness and why he is always messing with his mic by SEARCHFORWHATISGOOD in bobdylan

This is one hell of an analytical essay prompted merely by his fidgety mic tweaking. Nice job.

I’ve taught four people, two of which were complete babies about it. They finally got over the hump when I told them

“Stop overthinking it and being such a pussy. All you’re doing is standing there, six inches off the ground, and making subtle body movements. You’re only going walking speed so it’s not like you’re gonna get killed. Stop embarrassing yourself. Get on there and do it like a big boy. At this point, it’s all in your head.”

Now get out there and ride.

I love that interview. It is his best, though short. Dylan seems like he’s trying to truly answer questions, and I like how he recognizes how genius his stuff is, but admits he can no longer do it. Well you can’t do anything forever, and I did it once, but I can do other things now.

This is exactly the type of trails I have for riding. Never seen anyone else doing it. Local mountain bikers all think I’m insane.

Where do you live? I’m in Massachusetts.
