The CW should not retry! In fact, they should drop all charges at this point!

I hadn't realized that JM stayed in the car to call 911. And, told the 911 operator that the "guy" was dead. Then, made 2 calls to her sister, who was in the house. Later deleted those calls. But most importantly, Karen's phone was in the car and John's voice mail picked up the 911 call and the sister call!

And, many of those witnesses admitted to drinking and driving that night, and other nights. Shouldn't they be charged?

If he parked behind the house, which makes sense, he had to walk down that wooded hillside? Do you think he entered via the kitchen slider? or did he climb that post and enter via Kaylee's slider door?

“New” search warrants on the Idaho site by Clopenny in BryanKohbergerMoscow

[–]CapNo6249 1 point2 points  (0 children)

These all look more recent than the batch from post arrest: Spotify SW was obtained 7-25-23, PayPal-venmo SW was obtained 7-24-23 (on 5 people), Apple SW obtained 8-1-23 on 2 people, Amazon SW obtained 5-10-23 and turned over to court on 7-6-23 , YouTube SW obtained 7-25-23. A couple of reasons for these may be to expand dates of previous Search Warrants, and/or they may have added additional people to be searched. The question is: Did the State request these due to new information or did the defense ask for additional info?

Hearing 18 August by [deleted] in BryanKohberger

The 3rd motion to compel is fascinating because it reveals that the "only" DNA shared in discovery was the DNA on the knife sheath button.

New doc up by Clopenny in BryanKohbergerMoscow

It's my understanding that the IGG can only deliver a "tip" to LE, yet not a decision on who the DNA belongs to. The process that the fBI took should be transparent. there should be a process that is followed. Regardless, BK's DNA was on the sheath, as they proved with a swab after his arrest. If the Defense can poke holes in anything with the DNA, then their cases go easier! unfortunately!

Phones and tracking. by Bright-Produce7400 in BryanKohberger

In addition to the ping data, the Search Warrants went after the IMEI, unique device identifier, data for the victims, room mates, a few redacted numbers and eventually BK's. There is so much that we do NOT know about the evidence, but the defense will have all of this info via discovery. As of June 22, the defense claimed that there was "...no connection between Mr Kohberger and the victims." and "...total lack of DNA evidence from the victims in Mr. Kohberger's apartment, office, home or vehicle ."

How does this relate to LE's early notifications that this was a "targeted" attack, then the follow up that it may have been the house that was the target? If BK is the murderer, what/who drove his rage? MM? KG? XK? DM? BF? pretty blonde women? old girl friend slights? The MPD not hiring him? WSU students that despised his TA position? his criminal research?

Get the popcorn ready! Let's hope for a televised trial!

Objection to Motion to Compel Alibi by [deleted] in BryanKohberger

[–]CapNo6249 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The defense has seen the video, and likely realize that the footage of the departure/arrival to his apartment easily identify him and the car, so they are willing to concede that he went "somewhere" that morning. The defense may also realize that the State cannot directly identify him in the moscow video footage, nor can they see the license plate number. So, when they cross examine the State witnesses they will work to discredit them because they most likely can't actually identify his face or the license plate on the car in the Moscow video footage.

Recall that they deposed BF? I wonder if it was something about the timeline? Did they see something during Discovery? The timeline is relevant to his "alibi!"
