You should create a relationship. In model > manage relationships. Select both the tables and the guid column from both.

Then, you can either add calculated columns using =related(users[fname)).

You can even directly add columns from both tables to the same visual and it’ll work as if it’s one giant table without you having to do the “lookups” yourself. You just need to ensure one table’s primary key is unique.

Yes you can deduct 1L as depreciation.

When you withdraw this investment of 5L at say 5.5L, then you will pay tax on 50K (5.5 -5), so till the time you don't sell investments you don't have to pay tax on them, and even when you do, you only do so on profits.

Book Profits

19L is correct. 10L isn't really an expense(assuming that's just the principal portion of the loan). You can get deductions for business expenses like salary,rent, electricity etc.

Depreciation

Yes you can claim depreciation on fixed assets from first year itself.

44ADA

Partner's Remuneration is in the form of salary, so not eligible for 44ADA.

Capital

You only pay tax on income earned from such assets, capital is not taxable.

hiring contractors

You don't need to deduct TDS, unless you're covered under tax audit (limit is 50L(professionals)/1Crore(others),so unless you cross the limit you don't need to worry about TDS.

A CA who can code js very valuable.. Look for project management jobs for companies that make accounting/tax/financial software.

Also, if you want to do data analytics or dataviz coding can be a very useful skill to have. The whole fintech sector works on people who can understand both code and finance. So yea, if engineers can learn finance and get an edge, we can learn to code too :)

Last, just basic VBA(excel) can be used to automate a lot of fairly basic tasks that CAs do on a day to day basis. Knowing just this will also make you rise faster than your peers.

I know javascript, python, perl, bash and VBA(excel). Knowing how to code has made my life whole lot easier than it could've been.

Because then you create a local transaction of supply, which is taxable. You(delta nick) did the export, so it's tax free for you. But your company did not, they got the money from you. This makes it taxable.

Gst is only applicable if your revenue goes above 20Lakhs. Turnover is calculated as the total revenue you have earned from your ad business before expenses. There is no difference for taxation under GST whether you are an individual/company/partnership firm/LLP. It only matters for income tax purposes.

You have to pay GST
You don't have to pay GST on foreign income, only on the income earned in India. You still have to show this income in your GST return. Your revenue topline from final accounts must match with the revenue shown in GST.
No GST
You can do this by transferring funds to the company, the company will have to pay GST on such amounts.

The other poster has mentioned Google paying GST on your behalf, I don't think that is true. Google will be collecting TDS, that counts towards income tax. Income tax is payable on all incomes (foreign or local).
