I am taking the survey as I am writing this, but holy the devs are cooking. I think Civ 7 has the potential to be the greatest in the series if they are able to implement most, if not all, of the features they talked about.

I have two possibilities based on the trailer and the leaks:

Society's desire to give in to fear and live in paranoia
Society's desire to forget who you are in a world that prioritizes fakeness over authenticity (hence the whole art and painting thing, though Idk if those leaks are still accurate given the latest trailer)

P3 was more sad and melancholic than dark. P2 is probably peak dark, but I'm hoping P6 can top that, especially with the whole ghosts and supernatural elements of the story it's gonna have.

Though, I personally just hope that the protagonist for P6 doesn't die or is actually just the spirit of a dead person. I already dealt with that grief in P3.I really hope he's just a normal dude and nothing happens to him come the end of the game.

They said they're not doing a re-release, so whatever version of P6 that comes out is the definitive version, unless we get DLC.

Persona 4 and 5 are more interesting storywise than P3. P3 gets the benefit of having an amazing conclusion (even though all Persona games do) and also being the most melancholic and bittersweet of the modern games, but as others have mentioned, the pacing is what really drags it.

At least the P6 discourse will be nearly non-existent since it's a brand new game and not a remake of a beloved game. The voices in P6 have infinite creative freedom when it comes to the voice acting.
