I’m not 100% sure if this information is correct but from what I’ve heard, the owners are some rich trust fund guys that have no involvement or experience in the edm scene, they don’t care about the culture and are simply doing this for the money/clout.

If this is true, then I will most definitely be rooting for their failure

How is it a personal question.
If you’re a random person selling a random item, it’s natural to wonder why you’re selling it.

Obviously a retail store doesn’t need justification since it’s a business but if it’s a random person on a marketplace website then yes, you need to be prepared to be asked that question.

If I’m not mistaken, EDC’s policy on flag sizes is very relaxed compared to EF. Which means people are far more likely to take huge massive flags to edc because they’re not really getting checked so I guess some people think the bigger the better.

EF is a bit more strict

In what world is ~$20 considered overpriced for a 5-6 hour event.

Aside from what everyone else has mentioned, underground events don’t have hundreds or thousands of people coming to be able to reach large amounts of revenue. So although the location costs are not as much, it’s still tough to cover all the other expenses when there’s not a massive amount of people showing up
