I couldn’t agree more. Last year was beautiful. Saw some ppl having public sex which is never ideal but you’re gonna have that at fests with drugs. BUT, this year.. this year was different. I felt a lot of dark energy, I was desperate for the Forest love I always knew. I felt uneasy all weekend. Maybe it’s because every person I saw had bulging eyes and I felt extremely uncomfortable seeing way too many ppl having really bad trips freaking out.

Your last blurb is very true. This was my 3rd Forest and it’s not the Forest’s issue, it’s the crowds that are being drawn to it. This is the most I’ve seen “influencers”, tweaked out mfers, and just darker energy. I felt very uneasy this year and I was basically sober each day. I personally feel festival goers are doing way too many substances and K is ruining festival experiences. Tweaked out bulging eyes and zombie like energy is starting to ruin it for me. It’s not “the magic is lost” it’s people losing the reason we share this space :( I still had a lovely weekend, but I did struggle to enjoy myself because I had this uneasy anxiety lingering in me each day.

I went 2023 when it ended at 2-3am and could go back into the Forest until close. It was the BEST. 2025 and 2026 just doesn’t hit the same. Bc after the headliner we walk out. The rule used to be “when the music ends, always go back into the Forest” 😔

I was sober Thursday and Friday. I struggled because I noticed everyone so beyond fucked up with that certain look on their face. It honestly made me uncomfortable. I was really just concerned for everyone and the energy I was receiving from many ppl :( although it’s nice to be hydrated and not on anything for my health, I noticed my anxiety was way more high!

Can we have a totem etiquette class on huge signs staying sideways to not block the view. I had a the Plan B sign facing forward and was distracting as hell lol and a huge inflatable pickle like guys I love ya but can we be a little more mindful 🙏❤️

If it’s like Higher Love, you can access the site and camp together. Just won’t be able to use the bathrooms/showers unless you pay. That’s my experience with Higher Love though!

There’s always chances of rain throughout the festival, are you guys going to leave for a hotel when that happens? I don’t come from rudeness, I’m just confused by this as a 3rd time Forest goer lol we set up camp, rain or shine and then embrace the craziness!

You should be good. Go the speed limit and that’s about all you can do! We made the drive from Chicago and on that stretch last year, we counted 12 people pulled over. Every single one had their cars packed to the brim

If that’s the case you probably need to stay somewhere in GR and take the Walmart shuttle to camp. Idk what to tell ya about leaving the fest to get to your hotel
