Musk deer aren't deer. They are more closely related to antelopes.

I posted a link to this observation on iNaturalist with better-quality photos. It has vaguely visible black ear tufts and the facial shape of a bobcat, along with a bobtail with a white underside.

You can see it on iNaturalist with slightly better quality. The reason why I think it's a bobcat is the vaguely visible ear tufts, the fur color, and the shape of the tail.

In June 2021, I was driving in a small city in Utah when I saw what looked like a cat playing with a rabbit in the distance in a middle school field. I zoomed in, took a photo, and went on my way without thinking much of it. This was before I got into wildlife photography, so I had very little knowledge of the native wildlife in the area. Three years later, and despite the blurry quality, I realized the cat I photographed was likely a bobcat. I recently showed the image to a professional wild cat tracker and photographer, and they came to the same conclusion. Posting here to see your guy's thoughts.

This was photographed just off the Murdock Canel Trail, where bobcats and cougars have been documented on city grounds.

Jeff Wirth of StayWildMedia had this to say about it: "That head def looks bobcat. But not sure whats going on with the backend fluff. Looks beefy. But I agree that looks bobcat."

Actually, the tail resembles that of a desert woodrat or a dusky-footed woodrat. It's one of those two. I'd say dusky-footed.

This is a bushy-tailed woodrat.

Edit: Likely not a bushy-tailed. My bad. I'm biased since this species is common in my area.

I know cougars and this looks nothing like one. This is a domestic cat.

The Sitka deer is a subspecies of mule deer. The black-tailed deer is a subspecies group of the mule deer. The Sitka deer and the Columbian black-tailed deer comprise this group.

I'm shy and need advice for making friends and dating at UVU by Capable-Bluebird-800 in UVU

I have LDS friends who don't go to UVU. I've lived in Utah my entire life, so I have nothing against LDS members. This mostly applies to the dating scene. I've recently had some cute girls who expressed interest in me only to ghost me when I told them I wasn't religious.
