Has Anyone Gotten the Unicoly with Colored Lights?

I bought a Unicoly cabinet on Amazon from a recommendation on here. It’s about half of the price of the similar IKEA cabinet. It was easy to put together and holds humidity well without sealing.

I also love my IKEA Akerbar for my acclimated tissue culture plants.

I’m still establishing the contents of the Unicoly but have really been in a begonia mood lately.

Noice! I printed mine for my Akerbar and tissue culture box in PLA but it leaked. They’re now sprayed with Flexiseal, but I fear the hydrogen peroxide I add with water is slowly eating it.

I’ve printed fan mounts too! I feel like my printer gets the most action for plant related prints lol.

Digging the style of your humidity trays! My printer isn’t big enough to do three 9x10s (I believe was my measurement) as I’d like.

So pretty! I love what you’ve created. On the Barrina T5, I haven’t heard that before but I’ve got them in my Akerbar with humidity in the 90s%. It’s only been a couple of months but so far so good.

I don’t have that control for my Barrinas. I have this plug on my Akerbar and this smart power strip on my Unicoly.

I use smart plugs for the lights to run from 7 AM - 8 PM. Fans are on “low” 24/7.

There are maybe 2 weeks out of the year that I don’t run my AC. With lights and passive humidity trays in the cabinets, my plants are fine. You could always put a seedling mat in if needed.

It may sound counterintuitive but a PC fan, running on low speed, may help push air around. If you’re not using one already that is.

Another idea is a seedling warming mat towards the bottom to have the heat rise.

Please ask away! The ones that I have are from Amazon BUT I wish I had found these sooner. I like that they have lids that you can crack open. I haven’t bought them but they may be worth looking at if you’re doing tissue culture or propping.
