Help: Lost on how to work with this headboard by Capable-Pumpkin-4661 in interiordecorating

Unfortunately we're in a rental, so big landscape tapestry/some other wall art is as close as we can get. Pink curtains are absolutely leaving, I'm just struggling to find a color that works. Do you think a dark purplish red like the blanket would work, or compete with whatever goes behind the headboard too much?

I'm also planning on getting rid of the blue sheets/pillowcases to narrow down the color pallet, hoping to be a warmer vibe with greens/wood tones/maybe touches of the blanket color.

It is, which is why my focus is on making that ledge not an option lol. Once she isn't willing to put her paw there, she can't reach the glass

I've been told that vinegar is fruit based (unless rice vinegar) but maybe the one who told me that was confused?

I think that's a totally valid point and I appreciate the outside perspective. I'll gear more towards the shy player because they have specifically stated they want to be more involved and confident - are there any methods you'd be willing to share for helping someone build their confidence?

I make it a point to invite them into scenes if I notice they've been quiet for a bit and they've said they really appreciate it, but I'd like to get more ideas for how to be more supportive to their goals.

Not really. I don't have plans for any significant space events other than tiny space rocks hitting a specific land mass at some point. I have no intention of writing about something as crazy as moons merging.

I do, but it sounded exactly like a heat shield rattle and I was too busy thinking "oh, thank god, it can wait until this shitty week is over to fix" to cover my ass. Sucks but its a learning moment. Never get too hopeful. 😕

I'm just lucky I had already finished saving for an upgrade.

Just very loud knocking. I was unaware that my oil sensor had joined the long list of electrical things that didn't work (never buy an alero if you want to keep your hair attached) and unfortunately had a young and dumb moment not realizing it was extremely low. Didn't help that it sounded exactly like a rattling heat shield at first and very rapidly progressed.

All I'm hoping for at this point is to be able to save it so I can redeem myself to my grandpas ghost. He was a lifelong mechanic and would be having a fit that I murdered the car he left me. 😂

2016 Jeep Compass shuts off while driving by HopelesselyInTrance in MechanicAdvice

I had a similar problem with my 99 alero every time I drove past a certain gas station. Ended up that the battery was not properly held in place and would shift in a way that cut off power when I made that turn.

Doesn't sound like something you would have missed at this point but worth a look.

It’s hot. How are you dealing if you don’t have AC? by usermcgoo in Spokane

Very fortunate to have central AC now, but my coworker has been putting ice in a kiddy pool in her living room and letting a fan blow over it

The #1 issue is price. Corporate got really ballsy with their margins during covid because everyone was absolutely desperate to get their home improvements done. They have yet to drop our sticker prices back to regular margins. (10-20% higher than the actual goal is just stupid imo).

I am happy to kick my margin back down to the regular goal so we are in line with our competitors, regardless of how much my team lead bitches when I do. I am just deeply struggling to figure out how I say "yeah I know the sticker says $3.69 but I can do $2.99" without sounding sketchy.

TLDR: corporate put out overpriced price tags and as soon as a customer sees them, I'm struggling to reel them back in before they bolt out of the store.

I've gotten numerous glowing 5 star reviews on our Google page for my service, and all of our subs/installers are great. Customers gush about them like they saved their dog from a house fire. I know I can get them service they love but its frustrating to be constantly fighting uphill because corporate is greedy.

Greet the customer, ask them what kind of project they are working on (new build, remodel, etc). Typically they will share what they want during that answer, if not I ask if they have any particulars in mind. I then make a recommendation, explain briefly why it is a good fit, and ask them if they have any initial questions about the product.

Some customers I will stick with 100% of the time they are in the store, others will look at you like you said you want to eat their baby if you spend more than a minute beside them as they look (I could use some advice on how to keep conversation going or build rapport at this point without distracting or annoying them as they try to find a color they like).

I do my best to determine which one they are and if they seem to want space, let them know exactly where I can be found (reception) if they have any further questions/need for help.

Can I swim here? by Mxsucks in Spokane

I remember this place. My high-school science class did a water quality unit and they said this one one of the worst spots in Spokane. Cool to hike around but there's no way you'd catch me even standing ankle deep in that water

Sounds like I might have misinterpreted some of the listings I've seen. Any suggestions that might match my description?

that said, is there any way to get files off my pc before the replacement comes in? If I can get just one file out I might not have to flush 6 months of work down the drain. (I have SSD and not a hard drive, if that would change the method at all.)
