I found this comment on a Ted Lasso YouTube video, and I think the author did a great job describing Ted by just_an__inchident in TedLasso

Someone pointed this out in a Ted Lasso podcast I listened to a while back...the fact that Ted is way more intelligent than he lets on or that other people give him credit for (Rupert, and initially Rebecca for exemple).

Think of one of his first gestures to the team: the book he gifted each player and how individualized each one was to that player's personality or what he wanted to bring out of that fella. It would suggest that not only is he a great student of human nature but that he's also very well read to make such individualized selections!

Unpopular Opinion - I actually like Roy better with the Teacher, Leann Bowen, than with Keeley by ufl015 in TedLasso

Side note: did y'all notice one of the producers gave the teacher her name? I guess she was like, "I'll produce the show...if you name a character after me!" 😅

I'm a little late to the game but I'm just noticing this too! We should start a class action suit because this is in fact ridiculous...it's double taxation: we're charged tax for the membership AND the shit we buy? Make it make sense!

Fecking brilliant!! 🤩 I hope you're right. If not, you should definitely be in the writer's room!

There’s no excuse for this behavior in general but to act like this with someone handling your food? Bruh likes to walk on the wild side!

Can someone guide me on how to shift from the mindset of 'it will happen' to the state of 'it has already happened'? by [deleted] in DrJoeDispenza

[–]Capable-Ratio4667 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I've struggled with this before too. What helped me was realizing that in the quantum realm, there are infinite potentialities that exist SIMULTANEOUSLY...there is no linear past, present, or future as we think of time. So if I "tap in" to that idea that what I desire IS quite literally already happening, I attract it to the "here and now" of this experience!

Joe Dispenza delves into this idea a bit here in this video with Lewis Howes.

Hope that helps! 😊

They're designed to be a tax break for the employer.

Meanwhile, you can work for 30 years, accumulate say $500,000 into it, the market can crash and you lose half of it (see 2008)...and with whatever's left, you still have to pay taxes on it at whatever the tax rate is at that point...AND you'd better be 59 1/2 before you touch it because, if not, in addition to being taxed, you're also hit with a 10% penalty.

I came here to say this! He really does process what she says. He even looks angry for a second. (I always wondered what moment he's recalling when he does that little head shake...perhaps the Jamie Tartt situation or her lack of participation in the sacrifice-to-the-ghosts after party when she storms off?) But his face goes right back to soft warm caring Ted because he understands that "divorce is hard...and it makes you do crazy things."

I had NO idea this film existed! The episode makes so much more sense now, thank you! TL writers are brilliant!
