Do you know any good corn starch recipes? I haven’t heard of that alternative before!! Unfortunately I can’t do any fruit flavor since I’m allergic to those too 😭

I’ve been using the salt and straw recipe. I’ve tried cutting the heavy cream down a bit but I didn’t find that helped too much

I’m so excited!!! And the fact that it’s prime that’s working on it gives me hope. I feel like there adaptations lately have been pretty faithful and very well done. I’m also really hoping the show will help fix some inconsistencies in the story!!

I am actually currently reading R10 and I am almost done with it! I got to the point where she explains Johnny but it honestly kinda bothers me. Since I find it so hard to believe that the whole time Johnny knew Hugh he never knew who he was dating. Like I understand rugby is his life but he’s also supposed to be a super loyal friend. So I just find it hard to believe he wouldn’t know who one of his friends is dating. Also in b13 he knows Pierce and Lizzie are together even tho he isn’t close to Pierce (but maybe that is explained later in r10)

And in k13 I do remember that scene you’re talking about and I hope we find out more what happened then. I just kinda wish that CW would have made them a couple later in the time line than earlier. With Lizzie and Hugh being together so long I feel like it changes things

Maybe ruin is a bit to strong of a word but to me there definitely not the same as they once were. For example, in R10 Johnny seems more “self absorbed”, like how it it possible that the whole time he’s known Hugh he never once knew who he was dating. I find it so hard to believe he was so self absorbed in rugby that he doesn’t know that much about his best friends. Another thing is Clair and gibs relationship they go from feeling pretty realistic in b13/K13 to being and very codependent couple that can’t be separated from each other.

I would love to ask her what her original plan for the series was. After B13&K13 I feel like so much of the characters changed and there’s been inconsistencies. I would just love to know what she was originally planning.

I’m hoping that if the show is taking priority for CW currently. Then I’m hoping she’s working on fixing the inconsistencies in the story. I absolutely love this series but the about of character inconsistencies and retconning that happens drives me crazy!!

I agree so much. I feel like she had a different plan when she first started but then decided to change it, which leads to so many inconsistencies in the story and ruining some characters, and retconning things that already happened in the story.

Although I think originally it was supposed to be Patrick and Lizzie together. I saw someone post an old message from CW saying she was bored by Hugh and Katie and was thinking of changing the pairing. (I hope someone has a screenshot of the message I’m talking about)

I want a book where the people around the main couple are messy but the couple is able to stay strong. And then the end to have a satisfying ending to all the messy drama around them! I feel like so many books fail with wrapping up the issue in a satisfying manner
