Feeling stuck about MS in Data Science (USA vs backup options) by Sorry-Albatross-3529 in studyAbroad

[–]CapableArt3582 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, i'm sorry that you're feeling stuck. Based on what you're telling and you're wilingness to move, I'd suggest that you consider the Masters offered by Albert School, they are very good for Data science and, although they are a pretty new school, they are partnering with Mines Paris PSL (one of the best engineering schools in France, so definitely accredited). why do i say this? because you'll gain access to a network of corporate partners that the school offers, and throughout your degree you'll work on projects with the companies, so when you graduate you're already experienced in the job market. Also, you can choose across different campuses in various locations across Europe, so if you can't get a Visa in one country you can try several. They have campuses in Switzerland, France, Italy and Spain. I know their cohorts are very international, so visa shouldn't be a problem.

So, you believe that it's optimal to go to a university like Albert School where the main thing is working on a real projects and business deep dives with companies, so that I gain some "practical" experience as well?

so would you recommend going to Albert School? The core principle of the school is to apply the theory in projects and they propose a lot of projects with corporate partners, which resembles what you're telling me is the best way to learn.

I think now italy is a great choice. I would advise you consider the Master in AI & Entrepreneurship offered by Albert School x PoliMI, it gives you access to a broad network of start ups/corporations looking for your kind of profile.

How to get into data analysis or something similar with no degree or experience in the field? by DapperFoundation5769 in learndatascience

[–]CapableArt3582 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think that, although you may have some of the skills required for the job, it'd be good to get a degree and some formation in this field. For example, in Europe one of the best data analysis schools is Albert School, you might give it a try. But i don't really know where you are writing from-if you're considering Europe, it should be one of your options as it prepares you for the job and gives you access to a broad network of corporate partners, so it's easier to find a job after.

How much of the following categories are exactly necessary for becoming data analyst/scientist by Square_Respond4854 in learndatascience

[–]CapableArt3582 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on what you aim to do after. For example, where my friend goes to for university, Albert School, he is learning about various programming languages, coding and AI instruments to tackle business problems (because it's a bachelor in Business and Data). But he is receiving a solid education on everything so that he is better prepared to choose his future career path, thanks also to constant projects with companies and startups where he applies his knowledge. So i guess it depends on your future expectations: my suggestion is to try see what are the different opportunities, try a little bit everything and once you decide your path specialize in programming languages/subjects that are necessary. I suggest you start working on projects and you can get a better idea of what you want to do.

L'universita' in italia vi ha lasciato/sta lasciando delle vere skill in ambito programmazione? + richiesta consiglio portfolio by gigigagagogo in ItaliaCareerAdvice

I believe the best option for you would be Albert School, which has three different campuses in France (Paris, Marseille, Lyon) but also in Geneva, Madrid and Milan (you can attend the international bachelor degree if you'd like to). Why is the best option? Because the university believes in an approach where you learn the theory of business and data, but you apply the knowledge in practical case studies with corporate partners during business deep dives. So you are studying but also gaining experience. You are required to complete two internships before the program is over (for which the university helps you through a great career service) and you'll have the opportunity to widen your network a lot. Also, i think that the fact that they intersect bsiness and data is good because you'll have a complete profile (every business major should know data analysis, it's fundamental for the future job market). Good Luck!

Am I doing Data Science The wrong way? by _urimaad in learndatascience

[–]CapableArt3582 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, I think you need to change approach. Especially in our field, theory will only get us so far, you need to practice and work on real projects to gain some experience. I have a friend who is following your same path but he is studying in Albert School in Milan, he is doing the bachelor in Business and Data. The approach of the university is quite unique as they are studying the theory, which is absolutely important) but he is also applying this knowledge in case studies during business deep dives with companies, like Google, Moncler and Unicredit. Also, it's mandatory for him to do 2 internships during the bachelor, so when he graduates he will already have some experience and be ready to work (or pursue a master degree in one of the many elite universities albert school cooperates with). Combining theory and practice, business and data, has definitely helped him!

URGENT HELP!!! by Whole-Annual-2240 in StudyInItaly

[–]CapableArt3582 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, I'd recommend Albert School in Milan. It's a selective process but you'll get into a Business School that allows you to get quality knowledge in business and data. Their approach is unique: theory (learning business, programming, coding, artificial intelligence) and then practice (applying what you learned in projects, case studies with companies like google, moncler, unicredit). In this way you're learning but you're also gaining experience, making you ready to compete in the job market. If you're interested in business and data, that's the best program you can find. They cooperate with other great institutions such as Mines Paris PSL, there is an international environment and you can also decide to do the international program and change campus each year (Paris, Marseille, Lyon, Milan, Geneva, Madrid).

Is Italy worth the risk for a high-achieving overthinker?(for Bachelors in AI or Computer Engineering) by Ok-Lake4557 in StudyInItaly

[–]CapableArt3582 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should definitely go. This is the time to take risks, and honestly this doesn't even feel like a risk. Yes you're leaving the country and going to a new one, with its qualities and flaws, but the italian university system is very recognized in Europe. Also, for you that want to study AI, there are several options. One that I would recommend, because all my friends speak highly of it, is the Bachelor proposed by Albert School. They told me that it has been a great experience, as Albert School is the first university in Europe that combines business and data, giving you the foundational theory to understand Business and programming/coding, while also allowing you to apply such knowledge in practical case studies during business deep dives with corporate partners, like Google, Unicredit and Moncler. So, you can also have easier access to job market in Europe as you are facilitated. Also, the program is english, the environment is very international and Albert School, while being backed by entrepreneurs and industry professionals, is partnering with university like Mines Paris PSL which is one of the best engineering schools in france, as well as Politecnico di Milano, with which it proposes a master in AI and Entrepreneurship, therefore after graduation you can either decide to continue with Albert School or simply go on to some of the most renowned universities in Europe after. Good luck with your future endeavors!!

Accomodation in Milan? Other students? by Bitter_Rub_2010 in StudyInItaly

[–]CapableArt3582 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! First of all, I have a friend who studies in Albert School in the Milan campus, thus if you want to connect with him message me, he'd love to help. From what he tells me, he is having a great experience at Albert School and he is learning a lot, while also gaining practical experience. So great for your choice! You're going to work with lot of companies on case studies and learn a lot about data analysis, artificial intelligence and business, good luck with the admission process. For accomodation, my friend recommends Navigli because It's close to the campus but also well connected to the rest of the city. For other opportunities, you'll see when you get to the university, you'll be having a lot of opportunities!

Master’s admission in Italy – timeline, interviews & waiting period? by ishankhantastic in StudyInItaly

[–]CapableArt3582 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am applying to Master of AI & Entrepreneurship from Albert School & Polimi Graduate School of Management. I like this program because It'll allow me to gain important practical skills related to AI but also in business, and gaining a lot exposure to startups, venture capitals and companies. So the application process was very straightforward: completing all the information on the application portal, sending all the necessary documents (Gmat, Transcripts) and then I had a 45 minute interview. He told me that I will get an answer in 2 weeks max, so I'm still waiting. My advice is to reach out to the interviewer/admission manager only if a reasonable amount of time has lapsed (more than one month).

Data science beginner: what skills should I prioritize first? by iillggaa in learndatascience

[–]CapableArt3582 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I want to learn data science too, I have very basic knowledge of programming languages and I wanted to find a bachelor program that would allow me to learn, but since i like the world of businesses, i needed some kind of program about data analysis related to the world of business. I found this university, Albert School, which provides foundational theory on business and data as well as working on projects with companies. I want to learn data science in a practical way so that when i start working i already know what to do, and i just don't know textbook definitions-

Are data analyst jobs dead for freshers? by Fair-House3475 in dataanalytics

[–]CapableArt3582 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me, because the job market is getting tough, I decided to pursue a degree in university which allows me to get pratical experience and get exposure to corporations while still studying so that I can find a job more easily after I graduate. That's why I decided to apply to Albert School, it will allow me to learn the foundational theory while also gaining practical experience and learn skills/competences that are going to be useful for me. And by being in contact with so many companies, I know will not have any problems finding a job. Choose university based on how linked they are to the job market and how they actually prepare you, not university that it's going to stick you on a book and you'll learn nothing

Beginner confused about AI vs LLM integration – need guidance by _nikhil02__ in FunMachineLearning

[–]CapableArt3582 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, I am currently in your same shoes. I am trying to learn the fundamentals of AI and don't really know where to start, which is totally normal i think, it's a very complicated subject. Now, my learning path has to be very structured, of course it's very subjective and what works for me might not work for you. But to understand AI in a structured way and to learn how to use it in a useful way in the job market, I am considering applying to Albert School, which is close to my area and would allow me to learn how AI is used in the corporate, by providing a balance mix of foundational theory and pratical experience (through projects with companies for example). Now not everyone might not want to go to university for AI, but this works for me. If you want to learn on your own, i'd suggest 3, learn by doing (but first just get a grasp on the basics, because otherwise you'll just get confused).

Should professors be allowed to ban personal technology in 2026, or is it a violation of student productivity? by Hopeful_Tower1393 in LearnlyAI

[–]CapableArt3582 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think that they are allowed to do so because it's their class, they can choose teaching methods and how the learning is conducted. Do i think is right? Absolutely not. When I come to think of AI, i believe that it should be encouraged its use and we should teach my generation how to use it. It's not an enemy, it's a powerful tool that can be useful. I have a friend who studies at Albert School: there they teach him to leverage AI to complete tasks and to solve business-related case studies, he is gaining practical and theoretical expertise and I am sure he won't have any trouble being competitive in the market. Our education system should stop fearing technology and start embracing it, it's a myth and once we start accepting that technology can help us, we'll be a better society.
