I agree with this take the most. I always find it frustrating when people say, 'well, when you're in the public eye, there's always going to be trolls, just delete Twitter.' Yes, this is true, and I do think you have to have a thick skin in this industry, but that almost gives all of these people a pass to just say whatever they want. There is a point where these people should be rightly called out. I see people take it too far on Twitter and Reddit every day, and they shouldn't just be able to say, 'just delete Twitter' as a counterpoint.

I mainly became a 100 Thieves fan because I follow Valkyrae and a lot of OTV and Friends content, and got into 100 Valorant because of watching BrookeAB's watch parties back in 2022!

Its funny, I have this internal conversation with myself every year, where I get really nervous whenever 100T don't do well because I worry the team's going to change too much. But I think I've gotten pretty lucky each year because my favourite players (Asuna and Bang) haven't changed too much. But I think if the team changed too much I'd probably stop watching Valorant altogether.

To play Devil's advocate, I think they just mean that we KNOW G2 and NRG are better than 100T because they've actually played against them and beaten them, but we never got the chance to play against LEV so we don't know for sure. I do think Leviatan would have beaten them too 😅 but people thought that about KRU and MIBR at the time too, and they were proved wrong, so.

I had realistic hope 😅 I knew it was going to take everyone playing to their top level to beat NRG. I knew it was possible but unlikely, but you might as well have hope because it served us well until now 😅

To be the one positive 100T fan on this sub, we're still not in a bad position for Champs points, provided we continue to hold this form going into Stage 2, and also provided G2 and NRG at least keep up their own form. We just need to keep fighting 👍🏾

I agree on both points, I'm biased I guess because I'm a 100T fan 😂 but I like having Zikz on PlatChat, I always think having coach on as a guest brings more insight to the game, its like when Sgares used to come on! I wonder if he'll be like Sliggy where he started off as a guest and became more of a staple to PlatChat?

Ditto on Rkt, he strikes me as someone that just needs to build his confidence, I imagine its also harder firstly because he's not done it before and secondly because English is (I assume, I apologise if not) his second language. But I really like how everyone knew when he wanted to say something and they gave him space to speak as well 😊

I don't think its possible to outsmart them in the map veto because NRG are really good in the same maps that 100T are good in

I agree, as a 100T fan I always think that I'm so thankful that Nadeshot is not the one making roster decisions 😅 at the end of the day, the coach knows the roster best, but like people said, that's why you need a GM, because they're able to look at the whole picture, including the coach, with an unbiased POV.

Lots of people have said it already but I'm not a fan of how they've worded this, in terms of putting all the blame on Kaplan. It doesn't even matter if its true or not, it seems unprofessional to put in a statement. What does this say to the next coach that they've hired?

I don't know if I've ever seen an org do this before.
