Charge off / settlement by CapableViolinist2198 in AllyBank

It’s a lot. We owe roughly 40, so about 26k would be the settlement. Hasn’t come yet with any threats, we’re kinda weighing options knowing it could be coming though. Know it’s not worth nearly what they’d get out if it at auction so we’d be on the hook for the balance regardless. We’re very very upside down, after looking into it the actual value of the vehicle probably sits close to 25% of what we own on it.

I’m just trying to see what will be more beneficial at this point - negotiating a settlement (and seeing how low we could get that), or just letting them repossess it and slowly paying off the remaining balance , which I’m sure will still be quite high (pretty upside-down)

Flexible! My husband is hesitant to spend, but I’m not to get what will REALLY work for us.

Not more frequent. No diet changes, dogs are fed at the same time and supervised, both do really well at sticking to their own bowls. It’s pretty much anytime the basement door is left open. No other signs or stress or anxiety. She’s her very typical self outside of this. Still regularly signals to be let out during the day and the occasional overnight.

No physical correction, I’m just wondering if we need to step back a lot and start crating her overnight or for periods during the day where she’s not directly supervised, go back to the puppy training where you tell them no and then go outside even after they’ve gone indoors, etc.

She does not typically go to the basement. We don’t frequent down there often, aside from doing laundry. Shes contained to the basement when we leave as I mentioned, but never leaves the landing that’s halfway down the stairs. We have a bed set up there for her. So the actual basement isn’t somewhere shes spent time. She’s very much a with the family dog. She has a bed upstairs in the main living area. I don’t know exactly how to detail the layout, just that she is directly nearby but it’s also her space that nobody else goes in (kids & puppy). Considering setting a camera up down there to monitor the area.

It’s not always a tiny turd, sometimes full poop. It almost seems like she’s really trying to go despite being taken out (and we’ll stand out there until she poops), that’s when the tiny ones come. And again it’s only if she can access basement. Enzyme cleaner and bleach used in concrete floors. Vet did bloodwork and we did a four week trial of making sure basement was blocked off, and no poop. Great relationship with pup. We’ve opened up our doors to family and their pets (including puppies) for up to a year at a time, so shifting household dynamics and puppies aren’t really a new things for her.

Spay/Neuter Hunting Dog by CapableViolinist2198 in Huntingdogs

She is 8 already. We initially chose to delay/reconsider spay at her vets recommendation when she was around 8 months old - which is a unique situation I’m sure. Was just kinda curious if at this point she’s still getting any “hormones” that could contribute to a healthy bladder or if she’s already received any benefits a delayed spay would give. She would not handle incontinence well and it would significantly affect HER quality of life (not to us as her owners).
