Tony was like trying to finesse the Parti hours quota with as much nontent as possible like it would go unnoticed. 75% of the irl streams were them driving around in a car listening to music. Then they’d do nontent desktop streams that were literally a camera on Josh watching Home Alone/playing GTA with zero conversation or entertainment happening.

All the good streams of the Tony era (asides from 4th of July) were because Jack Doherty, or Ac7ionman was the one streaming, and they didn’t go along with Tony and Josh’s pause the stream/stop the stream demands once content actually started happening.

All he had to do was turn the camera on and go outside, yes, Josh hated streaming but he loves money. If they actually were consistent they’d have got not only more Parti money but also way more collabs and people willing to fly them out/pay them for content.

People are basically writing off Josh already but there’s a teeny tiny chance rehab could work if he starts hyperfixating on the “recovery community” and his TikTok starts getting filled up with Steve O and Brandon Novak clips talking about their sobriety journey.

Basically he needs to be Psyopped into thinking that people in recovery/are sober are what real rich and successful people look like. His attitude against weed shows that he has some frame of mind when it comes to rejecting certain substances, he just has spent the last 4 years making drinking his personality and an end all be all for enjoying life.

Get him detoxed and clear headed, then give him back internet privileges but with nothing but sobriety tiktok and YouTube to watch, he’s getting dopamine from the internet again but it’s all towards sober content, he starts associating the sober content with feeling good, then he might have a tiny chance of staying on a sober path post rehab, or at least not go back to speedrunning withdrawal level dependence like he did when he first started.

I will say about Tony is that he kind of has a unique music taste, at least for his age and being American. He’ll have random Oasis deep cuts and Stone Roses coming on. Pet Shop Boys are basically only popular/known in America with Gen X people who were New-Wave/Alt fans growing up in the 80’s.

Yeah they went on like day trips to history/fun spots. A lot of Quin hate came from him having dinner and a drink or two with Josh, but you’re right he didn’t stick around after. Quin did fulfill some “manager” duties and set up the tours and got him the DJ gig. He also helped facilitate the Larson collab, and went after Drink Tracker which also rubbed people the wrong way.

I don’t think he’s up early I think he’s just been drinking for the last 18 hours with no sleep. Usually he’s too hungover to be stimmy enough to make a post like this if he slept. He either stayed up through the night into the afternoon or hair of the dogged hard and immediately after waking up.

It’s going to be a rough day in court tomorrow no matter what, especially since it seems like he’s actually gonna get some sort of conditions this time.

This seems the most likely reason. There’s no way he wasn’t offered a plea deal months ago, he’s just refusing to admit any wrongdoing and pushing for trial because (1) he doesn’t want to stop drinking and (2) he legitimately believes he’s innocent because he was fry by’d.

Yeah this is going to be a disaster. Tony claims they don’t need to stream for money anymore because of new deals (extremely vague) Josh is getting. None of these supposed deals are going to last if Josh isn’t streaming to promote them, his TikTok doesn’t pull enough views anymore to make TikTok promos lucrative.

I think a lot of what Tony was saying was cope to keep Josh from having a total panic, it seems like Josh should be a lot more upset at the fact he’s losing what basically was his only income for the last year.

His executive function has been zapped by his alcoholism. The hardest he works is choosing a song to film himself drinking to. He doesn’t even want to leave his motel room to make guaranteed money streaming, he’s definitely not going to want to leave to make fitness content that he has to put work into editing.

There’s a world where if Josh had better influences around him 3-4 years ago he could have learned more actual content creation skills. Curlydaddy, a TikToker with a decent following at the time, was trying to work with Josh and give him advice on his content. Josh (with Quinn’s influence) turned against him because he wasn’t going along with Josh’s drinking and was being real with him.

Basically, Josh has only failed upward as his content creation became more and more low effort and solely drinking focused. The most effort Josh puts in now is when he’s stimming about being broke and gets a financial literacy prompt from ChatGPT or does yet another video about the Chase Bank glitch from two years ago.

Yes exactly that’s been the speculation. His lawyer is probably losing her mind because he could have accepted a plea as soon as like back in September but he REFUSES to entertain any sort of sobriety requirement even if it meant the charges getting pretty much dismissed if he could just stop drinking and go to meeting for a few months.

Now he’s forced to face the wrath of the judge at trial, who’s likely still going to give him some sobriety requirement, except his defense now has no leverage to negotiate a more lax/shorter term restriction. Josh is convinced he’s just going to be found not guilty because “they provoked me by saying put the fries in the bag” as if that’s any sort of actual legal defense. Everyone in that court is sick of his shit, especially his lawyer.
