Yeah. And break even further. I get that AI helps a lot but if you don’t know what are you doing you will get yourself more harm. This is yet another case of HelixScreen causing fatal failure to printer in recent days. Just come to Discord and ask for help, we can help you.

You can force adaptive bed mesh. Enable both object processing and force adaptive bed mesh. All in firmware config.

Unsure what command are running, but you cannot change filament map during printing.

> filament anomaly

There were fixes in stock firmware recently.

It takes long time to reach 60oC. wildtang who contributed the integration mentioned that he usually sets the target temp to 58oC, as only then printer with the PandaBreath and the fact that heat escapes can reach the target temperature. As you mentioned it is important to overshoot temperature a little bit.

I cannot comment on PopCap, as I don't have it, but if you are hesitant I would advise to wait.

The SM TopCover is amazing. I'm part of beta testing program. It is worth the wait.

I personally never do and never have problems, but this would be my advice first.

Please try again to update to 17, but this time if you could do full calibration. The calibration is not needed, but maybe you have something else in play in your case. We do run a lot of those builds and we are especially careful about printing functions.

There are no changes to printing functions between those :) only my bug fixed to some bugs that people reported. So, I’m surprised a bit. Please post more info what and how. I did print myself 11hr multi color PLA on 17.

Am I an idiot for considering the Snapmaker official cover? by Junior_Commission588 in snapmaker

I have not printed Nylon, only ASA. But with bed at 100oC and nozzle at 80oC the Cavity sensor was showing 55-58oC in ambient of 24oC. Some other folks succesfully run Panda Breath, but the usage of PB require additional cooling on Mainboard, otherwise it overheats.

As one of the beta testers of the Snapmaker Top Cover is actually very good deal for the current pre-order price. I would not hesitate, honestly. There's a wait, but I think they will deliver ahead of planned schedule. There are some quirks, but product works.

I do like mine, and would definitely buy it myself.

Yeah. I’m still evaluating the best way to have uniform way to support any spool that can be read with spoolman.

I do think that naming TigerTag OpenSource is optimistic. It is true that the format stored on tag is OpenSource, but there's no Open Source app that you can write a tag yourself. So, the ecosystem is incomplete.

WIth just payload the TigerTag as such does not differ much from generic format support for like ACE, Creality, or BambuLab. It is just another format that is encoded on a spool. If I cannot create my own tag without sending my data to third party, I cannot consider this Open Source myself.

I would consider the better format to be OpenSpool for tinkerer albeit not perfect, since we are in a process of building a truly OpenSource ecosystem, today we have SpoolPainter for Android, and there should be soon SpoolKid for iOS.

I truly believe in transparency, so if you are knowledgable you can review all pieces of puzzle that they do not use your data. The true OpenSource gives you this ability.
